Children of Raxxla wasn't created at the start of the game however....
I'd say given the Fed/Imp's were supposedly trying to HIDE the 'thing' mentioned in the old womans message. I'm assuming any data needs to be sold somewhere else... otherwise, any data containing additional clue's sold to them will most likely be 'hidden'

I think this line was Tick not Salomé. Salomé herself didn't comment on the rift. I doubt that refers to the rift, personally. I could be always wrong ofc...
I am a little confused: 'But only the Children can carry the message' - is that something Salome said or is it someone else? (Screenshot above suggests it from CMDR The Tick but of course it could be The Tick repeating something someone else has said)

Drew - can we confirm if that response was official from Salome, passed on by The Tick?
Well my take is that we've no further clues other than the fact that the story is being developed off of the back of this meeting. I'm currently in the Hearth nebulla, will be heading to the rift shortly and look for Nebulas on the other side. I'm in too minds on Drew's "read between the lines" clue as to whether we need to look at the text more closely or fly above a systems circle of bodies and look down for something apparent.

Drew... any chance you can clarify that finding whatever is in the rift is open to non CoR as well? That would be rather gigantically important I think.
Pretty sure Salome was referring to Imps/Feds about the "be careful to who you sell it to". What ever "is" in the DWE logs, it cant be sold to them.
My guess would be, sell it to independent systems. Best bet HR 6421 (CoR home world).

I agree, this is the best logical thing to do, especially if they're the only ones who can do "this".

'scuse me if it's been said before.. but does The Dark Wheel have a controlling faction in any system station/outpost..?
And if they do, would it be worthwhile selling exploration data there..?
