I can help with the Semotus Beacon (Ishum's Reach).
Icytoad (CMDR Sam Ishum) was the first to reach it legitimately and get back with the data.
Here's his claim : https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...nce-from-Sol?p=4012479&viewfull=1#post4012479
He posted that on June 3rd 3302, I assume that's when he got back to sell his data. I visited it in an Asp Explorer in early June 3302 so he must have been there in his Conda before that, possibly late May 3302?
In early June 3302 I landed on "Distant Moon" (the furthest landable object from Sol - and claimed it for Salomé in a bit of story roleplay a few months later). I haven't seen any posts, videos or screenshots of ships on the surface of Oevasy SG-Y D0 B 9 F (Distant Moon / Salomé's Reach) that predate June 3302.
Regarding Beagle Point; I'm pretty sure nearly every ship type prior to the Beluga has made it to Beagle Point now - there's a record of all 571 piolts who made it there in April 3302 on Distant Worlds, and the ships they flew : Distant Worlds Fleet Roster
^^ Hope that helps
it would appear not so far, although some set off in DW there is no confirmation they arrived at Beagle point. an Orca could make it to ishums reach too.Wait...no Orcas have been to Beagle Point yet? Not even post buff?
Ishums Reach is the furthest point from Sol that anyone has been...It was first done by none other than Fireytoad in his Anaconda
There's also a T-9 (Olivia), two Corvettes (?), and a whole bunch of other ship types. The only ones I know for sure they didn't make Distant Worlds were Diamondback Scouts and Orcas, for everything else I'd have to check the arrivals form myself.

I'm sure many have tried, and if it existed I'm sure it would have been found by now, but man I just have to wonder if there might yet be a system out there which is further from Sol than that?
Thanks Erimus, I have used the DW fleet roster and the arrivals form as proof of arrival (rather than going through individual posts), couldn't see any Eagles, FGS, or FDLs There was a viper, Adder, DBs, & Orca setting off on DW but no mention or confirmation of them arriving at beagle.
if they confirm arrival and not lost in the void I will add them to the list

*looks at his Orca*
*looks at the list*
*remembers he still has to re-visit a certain system in the abyss*
Hmm ...
*rubs hands* Right, better get a move on then - only 45k left to go.
Though may just skip Beagle Point altogether and go for Ishums Reach instead - my 46 point something Orca should just about make it.
There MIGHT be but they probably are systems very far from the galactic plane because I've not seen any stars further than Semotus Beacon on that sector/area.
I wonder about the name Ishum's Reach though. The GMP description (as seen on EDSM) doesn't even mention Ishum's Reach, it's referred to as Semotus Beacon throughout. Yet the Ishum's Reach name is apparently more popular in actual usage. I assume the GMP admins didn't want to name it after a Commander (although there is at least one exception to that), but where does the Ishum's Reach name come from? Did Sam Ishum name the system that, or did someone else?
Thanks for the info! No offense, but I agree with the GMP's preference then. Someone else naming something after you is different from you naming something after yourself.
Umm hi. I'm afraid you'll need to remove me from that table. Even if I went the furthest in a Sidewinder, I haven't been to Ishum's... I only made the Deep Space Challenge by going to 65427.48 ly from Sol.
If the OEVASY NA-A D0 - OEVASY RG-Y D0 (82.68LY) jump is required to reach Ishum's then I don't think it can be done in a Sidewinder. Without anything at all in optional/utility, A-rated FSD with extremely good roll, D-rated lightweight life support and sensors with extremely good rolls and everything else D-rated with 10% weight reduction from secondary effect (I don't even know if that's possible, the highest I've seen was almost 9% reduction) it's still under 39 ly when jumping on minimum fuel - see link:

It won't make that jump even with premium jumponium. Unless there's a neutron star conveniently placed nearby.
Ship Beagle Date Ishums Date Comments Anaconda who was first?
Yep, it needs that jump and there aren't any neutrons close by. One for the future. If the OEVASY NA-A D0 - OEVASY RG-Y D0 (82.68LY) jump is required to reach Ishum's then I don't think it can be done in a Sidewinder.

Marlon Blake got there a couple of weeks before me in mid 3001 I think, but I'm 99% sure that Svenno had been there in April 3001. Trouble is his thread doesn't explicitly say so from a quick check! He was definitely in the Ceeckia sector on April 12th (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...liest-planet?p=2097309&viewfull=1#post2097309) and it's just a case of whether he went around the outside of it without actually visiting it.
