Made linking 12 Lakon T-Type cargo ships together in humanoid robot shape, creating the Ultimate MegaShip.
And for disguise it can transform into various other shapes too.
To be fair, that's basically what the Lynx Bulk Carrier was, minus the ability to transform or assume humanoid shape. The Lynx was one of the original megaships from FFE, where it was made by rigging together modified hulls from Panther Clippers onto a reinforced cargo-laden spine.
In fact, I could see that being an overall workable design. A basic spine used to carry several self-propelled cargo modules that are each individually capable of docking on a large pad. These cargo modules wouldn't have their own FSDs or weaponry, and would instead be reliant on their mothership for any kind of travel as they are basically an overglorified limpet. Obviously not for player use, but it could definitely be a nice addition to NPC rosters if they could get the travel logic working and have us be able to watch them jump to a station and dispatch their fleet of cargo drones. These "heavy carriers" could even see use in CZs, with them jumping in and unleashing their drones, before jumping back out once their deployed wings run low, and with the major manufacturers having their own variations on the concept.
Also, the Lynx was one of several cat-themed ships in FFE, alongside the Panther, the Puma, the Tiger and the Lion. It's for this reason why I am against an existing manufacturer picking up the Panther Clipper, as the Panther exists entirely within its own naming scheme. Delacy's, Zorgon' and some of Lakon's ships are named after snakes, Core Dynamics ships are named after birds and Saud Kruger's ships are all named after marine mammals; it makes no sense for the lineup of cats to be assigned to any of the current manufacturers as they do not fit any of their themes and instead should instead form the core lineup of a new manufacturer.
