It might be shorter - 163 letters long and indicating character position.
(Or it might be encoded some other way...)
Was a similar suggestion earlier, but seems nobody found anything - or was no response.
Or simply 163 characters, with each number being an offset from its corresponding letter in the key... So many different ways to encode messages... :7

If you found a key, what would you do with it though (out of interest) regards the numbers?

For example the date in the story is 31073307, is that a key?
I can tell you now that is not the key, the thing is, the approach changes depending on the key itself. If the key were "cat", I'd approach it differently to "7" or... 49 characters in a grid (wink wink)
If it's anything, it'll be a clue on where to look for the key. It was two days after the Marlinist bombings, though there doesn't appear to be anything in the Colonies.
Ah - didn't occur to me the number in the message I responded to was the highest number, and not the length. :7
In the Serena Harbor logs, there is reference to LTT 1935 as where they captured the Theta Group originally. If there was nothing overlooked at Serana Harbor, would there be a facility there that could be found with information?
