General / Off-Topic The Lego thread

Now that I give it some thought, this is another advantage of Space Engineers. I should be able to easily replicate any of my ships using real-world LEGO blocks!!! :D

Granted, I'd probably need a special "NASA" LEGO set for things like thrusters..
Those ships in particular look really well suited to construction in Lego.
The glazing at the front might be a bit tricky / expensive but they may work well in a smaller, non minifig scale.

i didn't see this the first time but would you mind telling me what adjustments you made?
- I used a 2x3 instead of a 2x2 here - maybe I made a mistake somewhere, but the way it is shown it didn't result in a proper alignment for me

- I connected both of the parts of the cargo SRV hanger with a 2x1 piece

- Here I added a 8x1 piece - it slightly breaks the flow but it makes it more kids-proof.

- This thruster placement is not very stable, but I haven't yet found a solution that looks good

The rest of my changes were parts that I didn't have in the correct colour, or where I switched studded ones for smooth ones because of availability.

I greatly enjoy your models and plan to do others at some point (still got some parts lying around, but running a bit low on some). An Eagle would be the best model of course hint hint

ok I when through the model and fixed the problems. the first one was an error on my part I put the wrong piece lol. the second I was unable to fix but the third one I was able to make more stable. i will be updating the instructions on the site.

Well its finally here. people kept asking for a smaller krait. so here is a 1:250 scale one. It is about half the size of the bigger krait and contains most of the same features. these include a semi full interior, retracting landing gear and a SLF bay that SHOULD be able to hold any of the included fighters with little difficulty.
