The Next Update

Personally, I think something along the lines of a "Midway Mania" expansion/pack would be cool.

A lot of flat rides, maybe some kiddie rides, portable roller coasters (Pinfari Galaxy or Jet Stars come to mind) and a few more shops (corn on the cob, fried anything, funnel cakes, other fair food), and possibly skill games where peeps pay and have an option of prizes. Or even working skill mini games.

Scenery could include tent/circus canvas pieces, side show banners, tons of bright signs and banners, carnival bits like hanging bears, monkeys, and other prizes, and lots of generic pieces that could be assembled into various midway games. Animatronics could include carnival barkers and generic vendors, clowns, etc. and we could get a clown or another mascot entertainer.

I'm mostly siding with QoL really. Some sounds like the roar the Rival makes could use some work. Sounds are hard to record and recreate sometimes I know but hopefully one day they'll get the Rival sounding like Nemesis!

I hope Frontier looks into this. This would be one great update if they do. A Midway DLC would be a nice addition.

I would second that as more flat rides are needed in the game and I also agree with the midway games.

We'll at least be getting path tunneling. I wouldn't be surprised really if it weren't that much more though, they're likely extremely busy trying to get JW Evo finished and PlanCo development probably slowed down a lot since.

From what I know of the Frontier offices... They have complete seperate teams for Elite Dangerous, and Planet Coaster. I see no reason why JW Evo would be any different - of course certain Frontier staff will probably migrate around projects too

When deadlines start creeping up the other teams will highly likely jump in to help out when it's crunch time.

Female Animatronics.

It doesn't have to be intense. Take the animatronics models you have now. Take off the facial hair (if it's there). Add long hair. Maybe add dress. Done.

They don't need to a bunch of "Damsels in Distress" or anything. We don't need whole new classes of characters. Just let us have girl pirates, cow-girls, and lady knights.

Also forgot to mention Fun House or Dark Ride facades, with a set of triggered old style animatronic stunts, and reprofiled track to allow super tight curves, spinning tunnels, and rotation.

I would also love to have stand alone vendors that we could custom build stalls for (having the big brick building can be annoying sometimes), and lastly, vendors with push carts where the items for sale can be varied.

In the past, I have also suggested walk through attractions set up similar to the old RCT3 miniature golf, where you have walkways, and instead of holes, the peep comes to a stunt (Barrels, tunnels, sliding steps) that could be set up in any combination for variety. Come to think of it, would love to have regular old mini golf too!!!

Next major update with more content may be when it's summer in the UK. Currently nearing summer for NZ/Australia. March is da first day of Autumn for us. I'd like swimming pools and water slides. A lot of people have been requesting this. Maybe even bumper boats which is what Rainbows End, Auckland NZ has. For me it's about a water DLC, I'd be happy to pay for it too.

The only thing i really like at the moment is a tickbox to remove the family/teen/adults restriction on coasters and rides.
Though i understand the idea behind it and the system, also some scenarios, are based around it, it would be kind to disable.

I've at least a hundered ideas for an update with additions and innoventions to the game, but to be honest, in the first two months of 2018 I did not really get the impression, that they announce or plan any new things... So currently I rather ask myself if there will be any further addition at all.[where is it]

I too feel the end is nigh as player numbers keep on dropping / forum activity drying up and nothing mentioned from Frontier. Was reading a post on Shyguys world from Shyguy where he is even saying they're starting to give up on PC too. Such as shame if this is the end as it was a golden opporuntity and originally so much love put into the game

No offense to shyguy, but he's not part of the Frontier team, so it's just speculation on his part.

Even so, it is really a shame that we aren't getting anything (not even bread crumbs) from the development team.

It would be nice to hear something, heck, anything! from the powers that be. Just one screen, or one draft drawing, ANYTHING!!! Just to know the game is still alive!
