That is relatively easy. Just grab all the tech items you can find, and then trade them in for weapon components. 9 chips = 1 weapon component.

So it may seem a bit odd, but the best place to accumulate WCs is the big tourist site with the two, three storey HAB wings connected to the bar via corridors. 10 rooms in each wing, 20 rooms. Each with several lockers. Chip and lens bonanza, even abandoned ones. It is worth powering up to avoid all the door cutting.

Ohh, so you don't actually get WCs from those sites but get other mats to trade for them?

So far I've been looking for large unpowered extraction settlements to farm WCs (& other high grade tech assets). I usually get about 1 or 2 WCs per run, 6 is my highest record.

Progress is slow but that's how it is I guess.

Of course I also grab every tech asset I find to trade up.

Yep. Trading is your friend, and this is one of those situations where the gameplay loop works well.

And these tourist sites also tend to have lots of graphene!

So I'm about at my wits' end, getting perhaps one Financial Projection for every 20 tourist settlements I scour lately. For the sake of continued sanity anyone have 7 FPs they'd be willing to trade for? I have a couple SDFs and an OP left but a fair amount of other data (Cat media?) and physical materials I've accumulated. Or can offer illustration services if that's valuable :)

I'm in the Pacific US timezone IRL and kicking around Fullerene C60 in-game like everyone else looking for these things. Just message me on here if you'd like to trade.

Just to make sure, but for unlocking Wellington Beck you need sell a total of 25 of the three data, not 25 of each. And it's the same for Oden Geiger and his 20 data.
