With all the frustration I've been having since 2.4 dropped, this game still amazes me. I was running a mission to this moon yesterday evening, and by pure luck I landed just in time to experience a solar eclipse. I was a bit slow on the camera, however.

I left the camera pointing in this direction for 20 minutes or so - here's that image:

One of my favorite features of ED is the realistic movement of heavenly bodies; this never fails to impress me. Good job, Frontier, good job (seriously)!

Great catch, same for me. I love the realistic setting and the impressive visuals.

Decided to take a 7000ly trip out to the Crab Pulsar. I would of took a picture that showed off the nebula more but the minecraft block graphics on the nebula are still present so.....

This game keeps amazing me, and this has to be my favorite of the threads here. Soon as I get back from my business trip, I need to start taking photos again, these last few ones were inspiring..

In case you've underestimated the size of the Anaconda:

And the guy that built this ship thought it was a great idea to put the cockpit at the back end of the hull lol.

The fact you call it a "cockpit" implies you're comparing these huge ships to airplanes, whereas I think of them more like Navy ships with "bridges". Thus I feel right at home on the bridge of an Anaconda.
