[EMPIRE] The Praetorian Curiate Assembly: Objectives-based gameplay for Imperial CMDRs

The Praetorian Curiate Assembly has four core objectives:

1. Governance where present.
2. Total control of landable assets.
3. Control of high-population systems.
4. Control of high-quality systems.
5. Conquest of Federation systems in our region.

This quarter, we've achieved significant progress in these objectives, marking a milestone yesterday as we took control of our 23rd system. We now govern every system in which are present. And in these 23 systems, we control 106 stations — out of 125 possible. This translates to 85% ownership, with the remaining 19 stations concentrated in only 3 systems.

We are selective and methodical when planning our expansions, and this selectivity has allowed us to avoid outpost-only systems: only two of our systems, Kojin and Wen Chayuse, do not have a large pad. Right now, we're preparing to exit a period of consolidation and so are looking forward to strong growth in the next few months.

Praetorians Celebrate the Commissioning of New Fleet Carriers

Citizens of the Praetorian Curiate Assembly celebrated the commissioning of four new capital ships today to bolster the defenses of Assembly star systems. Lavish, celebrity-laden receptions were thrown for the commissioning ceremonies on board both the IPFV Stella Viatorem and the IPFV Duke Alden Rowe.

From the bridge of the Duke Alden Rowe in Audhr, Patrician Kiera Bishop issued a statement to the gathered crowds, ”The Duke Alden Rowe is a magnificent warship that joins the finest Navy in the Empire, in the spirit and traditions that have served our people for generations. These are the first of dozens of new fleet carriers commissioned to bolster Praetorian Curiate Assembly defense forces. This Nautilus class Drake carrier will serve as a forward support and logistics base, joining our Majestic class Interdictor capital ships on the front lines. This ship will deliver our brave pilots to battle enemies of the Empire, and we will be victorious!”

When asked why Duke Rowe was not present for the ceremony she responded, “His grace is busy with important matters of state, the ridiculous rumors that the Duke fears this celebration is a plot to expose him to treachery are completely fabricated.”

As 3306 draws to a close, we mark an incredible year for the Empire, Patreus, and the Praetorian Curiate Assembly — one which saw the domain of Duke Alden Rowe grow by sixteen billion souls and forty six stations.

More than this, I am so proud of the quality of commanders in our ranks, and that we continue to meet the high standards of conduct and camaraderie we set for ourselves. In a difficult year, I am incredibly grateful not only for the contributions of our commanders to the Empire, Patreus, and PCA, but to our community of friends and partners.

Careful management of our systems and expansions offered us a goal that we are proud to have hit today: 100% control of every landable asset in every system where our faction is present. 145 stations across 28 systems, with a total population of 48,910,775,238. This places us at 17th in assets and 14th in population.

We hit this mark with the acquisition of Gaiman Depot in Balmung, a populous Imperial system with fifteen stations, after over a year of campaigning. While we didn't use a flashy retreat to take these stations, expanding here was a critical part of our Theta Indi campaign, where we pushed ourselves into expansion while pushing our target faction out. The majority of Balmung's assets were owned by Balmung Patron's Principals when we arrived in system, and BPP is one of a number of patronages important to Patreus in the Turir sphere. With our pilots having spent many years active in this region, achieving this goal here feels right.

Our next expansion ends tomorrow, with no loose ends behind it!
