This is still going? I'm impressed. Theres even PvE players insisting they are as good as the die hard PvPers.

Well this is fun.
Well this is fun.
The grand strategy of the half dozen people you so often find yourself arguing with is to beat you down with an almost miraculous persistence that will inevitably result in you becoming frustrated and giving up. The trick is to understand that you will never convince this group of people of anything. The good news is that other people may read your words and see their value and perhaps be swayed by your arguments.
Maybe we should all stop discussing this on the forums and fight out in the game? Wouldn't that be interesting.
Because you suck at presenting arguments or selling ideas? When you issue a duel the one you challenge chooses the weapons. I choose rhetoric.
Have you done your suggestions thread yet?
Tone down the hostility, man. No, I haven't, and I certainly won't simply because you demand it.

That wasn't very nice. I think he's more than held his own with you in the duel of words.

Thanks, Jason.
I did comment on his proposals in this thread, but I guess he missed it.
Just calling it how I see it. I am curious if he could hang with you on your preferred field of battle? I wonder what it would take to make that happen?

Do you? By belligerently failing to take on board what people are saying? All I've seen is 'I want', 'I don't care about other players', and 'you all suck at combat' therefore I'm better' stuff. You too frankly, you have added virtually nothing of consequence either way, and made no attempt at all to try to establish any common ground or rally your troops to focus on the goal.
This thread has done nothing to move forward from the conclusions drawn in my proposal thread (that predates this thread), and franky I'm considerably less inclined to support any kind of meaningful PvP than I was before this pointless two-week rant happened.
I'm here to help find a solution, and all I'm getting is childish mockery and TL;DRs. You (as a collective) may be good at bragging, you might be better at playing Timmy try-hard (been there, not interested in doing it again) but you could't organise a party in a brewery judging by the last week or so of this thread.
Consolidate, regroup & come back with a cohesive plan of attack as to why other players should accept having to concede anything for the sake of your (as a group) entertainment.
You're getting kind of personal, Riverside. I brought up a number of ideas in this thread, and they were roundly dog piled from the get go. I hold to the central tenet that in order to not only be fair but fun, the BGS or Power Play should either be 1-only influenced in Open, or 2-the rewards for doing it in Open should be greatly enhanced. Leaning massively towards number one. I'm sorry you don't respect my views, but that isn't going to change them.

Just gonna echo what Jason said here. Consider stepping back, Riverside.
