A little update from N. Ireland regarding the opening of pubs, cafes and restaurants on Friday.
Apparently, 100's of them will not be allowed to open as many have failed the covoid inspections.
There have been no changes in the rules and one venue spent 25k on upgrading for the reopening, only to fail very, very hard.
They only had months to get it right...

ER's been busy since last post. Patients with palpitations and chest pain acquired listening to the Prime Minister on TV...

Police service has a bad apple that had his charges dropped, and is now back running Special Operations Response Team, which is really bad news for injuries and shootings going forward. SORT is taking point, looking to capitalize on Covid restriction breakers. This has to be deliberate, it's basically telling the public there's a rubber hose beating if we catch you

The road traffic is beyond belief. Businesses moving stock out of shops back to warehouses, food deliveries, etc. Couldn't get into any gas stations.

Last night for bars. You can imagine. Everybody has to survive, and they won't be getting customers for the forseeable future.

Took hours to do a 5 minute return trip after finishing the calls. They're closing the centre for the night, no nurses available. Made it home, with the needle on E, which is not just the car. Getting some breakfast. It's 7:30 pm.

Cautionary tale one zillion and five:

A Kenyan doctor who became a vociferous opponent of the Covid-19 vaccine has succumbed to the virus, weeks after saying the jab was "totally unnecessary".
Dr Stephen Karanja, chairman of the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, advocated steam inhalation and hydroxychloroquine tablets.

This man spent his life struggling with the vmPFC lesion that made him hyperreligious, and unable to assess large scale risk.

In 2019 he led opposition against vaccination of schoolgirls against cervical cancer, saying the jab against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) was unnecessary because it affected those "whose lifestyle involves irresponsible sexual behaviours".
In 2014, his association opposed the government's rollout of a tetanus vaccine targeting women, claiming it was a sterilisation campaign, despite local health authorities, the WHO, and the UN children's agency Unicef saying the vaccine was safe.

Finally, that lesion killed him, not so much the virus. The brain dysfunction was the proximate cause of death. If this sounds like someone you know, someone who is unconvinceable of obvious facts, well that person is also endangered.

I still, have to ask: Why do dangerous idiots, like this, keep getting a platform. I am sorry, but from just what is above. Back in 2014, someone should have said, he is a danger to others, lock him up. Ban him from publication, whatever? Granted, he had a medical issue, that logically affected his thinking; but with that added to what he was, not just saying, but, basically shouting his thoughts. There are grounds, right there, to do a Britney Spears, on him.

All over the world, including the so called civilised west, people believe in alternative medicines. Some of which may have a powerful placebo effect or may actually help. Unfortunately that can make things a little blurry for some to sift out the facts from the quacks

In Israel 45 people died and 145 were injured in a stampede.

They were participating in the Lag Baomer ceremony.

One hypothesis of the origins of this ceremony is that thousands of followers of Rabbi Akiva died during an epidemic of croup (a viral disease that affects the respiratory tract). This epidemic would have occurred centuries ago. This ceremonies would celebrate the end of this epidemic.

The paradox is that certainly the victims this week were all vaccinated against the Covid 19.

The life is cynical once again. 🤨

It is interesting, how religion and religious festivals, have done a lot to spread this virus. Going back to South Korea, a religious festival, caused the biggest spike, in the early months.

The 'citizains' there (Israel), have mostly been vaccinated, but maybe not against all of the possible strains. Plus: 100,000 people, gathering in one small space, confined, into narrow passages; will show us, what the effectiveness, of their vaccine is.

About 30-40% of the general population cannot tell that there is impairment, since they have it too to a significant degree.

Maybe this article might add more?
“Thus, we suggest that vulnerability to misleading information, outright deception and fraud in older adults is the specific result of a deficit in the doubt process that is mediated by the vmPFC.”
Pretty much everybody in Qanon has this defect. The personality pattern is easy to spot.
  • hyperreligious or has cult beliefs ( predisposed to making platforms for idiots)
  • easily conned, believes transparently false information
  • uncontrolled bursts of emotional anger/fear often associated with racism
  • paranoia in thinking
  • unable to realistically assess large scale risk to populations

Their behaviour pattern depletes their money, and puts them in greater danger than average. It's worse with age, but there are young people with it too. It's correlated with obesity.

Most obesity in USA. South East areas.

The states with the poorest vaccine uptake are the fattest ones.

Since they can't parse risks, they smoke more:

Historically, the same areas have the worst racial issues.
I suggest that the exact same brain area is why these maps are the way they are.

MO is terrifying for non-smokers, especially in rural areas. :(

I’ve been booked for a live performance venue on may 17th when the rules allow - my god I’m looking forward to it, but also some trepidation!
The venue is awesome and I know they’ll put safety first, but I know it’s gonna be a surreal experience after so long. I know we’re going to have a rather keen, appreciative audience!
Ed: haha, I can’t write good english am so excited :-D
Ed,Ed: am doing visuals so can hide in tech box if need be :-D

Interesting find Robin. Scary too.

Do we know why/how the damage is there? That is generally where they used to lobotomise people, isn't it?

My nan, had a saying. 'There is something in the water.' To offer a reason for things like, mass stupidity. I don't know where the phrase comes from. I didn't see anything in that article, about possible causes. Plus: This could inadvertently, lead us down all sorts of conspiracy paths, from Fluoride to steroids in beef and we don't need to be going there, in this thread.

Just take care, when in the queue waiting to get in. People being people, some without the right 'qualifications', will try and blag their way in. They may get turned away, but for those around them in the queue, they could still be a problem.

A few years ago there was a theory going around that the government was adding fluoride into the water to dumb down the masses and make them compliant. It seems Hitler did extensive testing and the U.K. government decided to adopt it.
There were pilot scheme in Birmingham and people pointed and said ‘see I told you so’
No offence to any Brummies, they weren't my words, I would never say such things... I might think it but I would never say it :p

We only know the area isn't working properly, no idea why that is.
Lobotomy proceedure is adjacent to this structure, not the same spot.

Here's a bit of extract from another study suggesting that obesity is not the cause, it is one of the results:

Decision-making deficits have been found in patients with ventromedial prefrontal cortex lesions and in those with substance dependence--impairments that reflect an inability to advantageously assess future consequences. That is, they choose immediate rewards in the face of future long-term negative consequences.

You can see that these victims would not be able to make the connection between vaccination and long term benefit to society. That they would believe bleach drinking could be a cure, believe fervently in whatever religion got presented to them, and be fodder for scams, or populist movements. And would be violently opposed to "Authorities" making them(paranoia) use vaccines that they really cannot understand.

I think that strokes could knock out this area. In situations where a sudden personality change happens, that might be a cause.

Either way, these are not conventionally persuadable individuals, but they are so easily connable that getting compliance wouldn't be hard.

"substance dependence"? Well that covers a wide range of things.

So they are short term thinkers (quick fix), rather than seeing the big picture, or the long term objectives. Which means that they would become susceptible to the 'fear' mongers.

Over-consumption of media comes to mind when reading some of the above.
Too much misinformation, lies, half-truths and mixed messaging could spark those kinda things.
Insecurity can lead to comfort eating and weight gain..
Then once someone has the fear, then the paranoia kicks in and then people do the crazy things.

Instant gratification may also be a thing, maybe humans aren't designed to cope with the levels of information they currently have access to...especially if it very confused as it has been.
