True, Iguanas and Monitors are another good example. Even better, since they are Similar in Size.We got lizards both in the exhibit and in habitats, so I wouldn't say it is that weird.
The same goes for Testudines (turtles/tortoises)

I think the Size Difference between the Nile Monitor and Green Iguana is less than the 2 Sloths.Yes, but for most of these, except the iguanas, have a huge difference in size
I wouldn't say size matters much. It is a matter of behavior.Yes, but for most of these, except the iguanas, have a huge difference in size
It probably will be Walkthrough. But at the same time it would be nice to see the average Player Base learn something new at the end of the day. Because they will start questioning and thinking why one is Exhibit and other Habitat and find Answers.95 percent of the people who play this game don't know what differentiates a two toed sloth from a three toed sloth. It's more trouble than its worth for Frontier to divide the two up like that. If we get a two toed sloth (very small chance IMO, even though I would've preferred a two toed), it'll be a walkthrough.
I think it is quite likely we'll be getting a 2nd Sloth, but it will probably be Exhibit. Frontier usually delivers in twos, taking the Kangaroo, Penguin, Gibbon and many other DLC examples.Realistically I don't see a second sloth happening
Although I did just watch the new Rudi renkamel video and he bought up an interesting point about the games end of life where he suggested that frontier might officially end updates when it's time to ect but continue to make paid content with animal packs only - no new scenery or mechanics ect. It's just a musing he had but it would be something I would be interested in, because we get more animals that I would be happy to buy. Perhaps in such a scenario we could see a two toed sloth species then.

I think he meant kangaroo and walllaby. We have two kangaroo?
I would love a two-toed sloth but I just don't see us getting one. Not with so many other animals we still need.if Two-Toed make as habitat animal, it will please everyone.
That just isn't true. Two and three-toed sloths are nowhere near similar when it comes to their athletic abilities, climbing or on the ground. Two-toed sloths are not only much much faster, but also have a different reaction time. Three-toed sloths can't even show proper reflexes, while two-toed can surprisingly lash out at things to the point it makes you realize how viable the related ground sloths actually were. The not so related three-toed sloth is pretty much a living doormat like one user described. Facts are just facts. Two toed and three toed are the same in terms of athleticism. There’s virtually no difference. Three toed are just as athletic imo. I’ve seen sloths active and it usually always involves a person holding food for them. Three toed swim and go in search of mates in the wild but in captivity there’s no reason to do this. To say one is great for exhibit and one is for habitat is literally nonsense. A giant tortoise in comparison if food motivated is a literal athlete compared to a sloth.
Never say never. Frontier like to reuse the same rig. We already get two otters, two penguins, two tigers, two brown bears, two caimans, two rhinos, two gibbons, two hyenas and three monitors. Besides, two-toed and three-toed sloths behave differently.I would love a two-toed sloth but I just don't see us getting one. Not with so many other animals we still need.
I hope official support will continue until 2024 end as free update is the important part of the game.Realistically I don't see a second sloth happening

I would love to see support go as long as possible. Also apparently we are getting a new planet game next year so thats interesting to knowI hope official support will continue until 2024 end as free update is the important part of the game.
Haven't really been keeping up, but this is empirically untrue. There were two main positions when the sloth was announced:Yes I agree. People who only want an Exhibit Sloth, will use Three-Toed. Ones who want Habitat will use Two-Toed.
We have two kangaroo?
I'm counting all Macropods in the game as one in this example. After all they are all more related to one another than the 2 Sloths are. Quokka, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Pademelons and Tree Kangaroos are all more closely related than the Sloths, being in the same Family. We just have separate Common Names for each. It makes sense to release more than one, as they move similarly. Less costly compared to an entirely unique Animal. You can consider Tree Kangaroos special, because they'll also have to use the Climbing System.I think he meant kangaroo and walllaby.
Based on what you described as empirically true, wouldn't it be ideal giving the Preferred Sloth Species in the Preferred Enclosure Type, if we are to receive the Two-Toed Sloth as Habitat next? That's what I was describing, so the end result should tick off on all these points.Giving us the preferred sloth species in the unprefered enclosure type wouldn't be pleasing in the slightest, it would just be incredibly annoying.
