Here is a reason I like modes / switching;

I'm training a new pilot for the game, in my (brand new) Anaconda!

The worst part is, she is 6 years old and earnt more money in that CZ than I have doing anything else.
Oh, and now I'm forever getting asked when she can play "her" ship....

Just for you, and your delicious scrummy bacon goodies (I mean who dosent love bacon), I will make a pink paint job for the anaconda, post it in the paintjob forums and enter it into the comp.. I mean, why cant pirates, bounty hunters or even traders fly a huge pink anaconda. Needs to be done.

LOL, sounds about right.

My 3 year old is as bad - she loves her Sidey with Merc paint.
I just hope FD don't do an Anaconda paint that is pink.... because that will cause an argument in this house.

A father (take note MR Jockey!) let his son fly his (type9 IIRC) full of palladium, Dad needed the loo as the lad (about 8/9 years old, again IIRC) was about to dock, he heard some bad noises coming from his PC as rushed back to find that not only had his first born crashed his pride and joy into the side of the station, he also did not have enough to cover the insurance and was back in a sidey.

Now it was a funny thread, apparently when his son said "sorry", he said "I will get you back when you least expect it" in a demonic voice, apparently he "told Mum" as she came and asked if he was OK (I didn't have a lot of cash, but as did others I offered him a million or two to help, but he refused and posted a month or 2 later he was back on track, it wasn't a whine thread more of a "public service announcement" with tons of humour).

There was the "why not training missions", "why not buy him a sidey to crash", hindsight is 20-20 OFC.

The funniest comment for me was "you are a fantastic dad, you didn't just give him his own sidey, you made him earn it", and at that point I logged on to Amazon to buy a tub of screen wipes.

So 3 points:

1) Can anyone link me to that post I described, its very funny
2) Supervise minors in charge of space ships
3) Make sure you have insurance, or a bloody good sense of humour.

I recall that thread, I'd just picked up my T7 I think when I read that.
I laughed and cringed at the same time.

I think there may be a minor disagreement that he will obviously lose to the far superior females in his household, something I am sure he is aware of due to a prior mentioned female faction owning the space he currently frequents (read home), I believe the mention of a 3 year old and pink trumps all galactic politics, without playing the "wife card", he is already doomed!

A full on embargo is a very serious sanction, and as such should be saved for the worst offenders, I do not feel this case is worthy of such sanctions, PS I sent you all my money, let me know how we get on , have mercy on poor Jockey and lets pray the kids go to bed early.

Purple is the way forward, I had an accident on my NSR125 ~ 25 years ago, they came in red or white at the time IIRC, after I fixed the fairing I resprayed it all purple and registered the colour change. I had a full license so could carry a passenger and no learner plates (on what the (traffic) police considered a learners bike), it was race style and did ~ 70 mph.

I used to get pulled over a bit by traffic cops, even solo, I am sure it was the colour rather than no L plates, Damn it, maybe I need to ditch the purple! Nah its OK I am legal officer, what do you mean "thats not legal here" (frameshift drive charging).

My STO account already has a female captain, pink hair and clothes with a pink starship.
(My older daughter prefers STO to an actual Barbie for playing "dress up" - more options in the costumes)

+1 Rep, in the interests of all Bacon lovers, any chance you could do a Bacon covered Conda too? Oh how I wish I understood this photoshop voodoo, could I tempt you to throw in some Cat decals, possibly egg themed if you feel very creative (I would avoid condiments as they are particularity divisive when we get to topics as serious as Bacon) <bows in reverence to the first great pig farmer>, may (s)he bathe in crispy Crackling.

To quote my previous informal "Bacon guild" leader from the last game I played, who is actually in this game too although not very active on these forums, "Bacon is not a food group, its a lifestyle choice", I should point him to this thread, nice guy, even talked to the vegetarians, in fact we had vegetarians in the Bacon group, just like Bacon Cats its a fun thread / group.

PS, even though I am from the UK I would go for the American type Bacon for the skin, it looks like UK streaky Bacon and is better recognised than some others, I think a Bacon skin may win you the competition, I would vote for it.

Funny. I love having my character/avatar/whatever clad in pink from toes to pigtails whenever I settle for a bit of PvP action. With hearts and sparkles if the game allows it. I even learned to play Peach in Smash Bros just to pound others with a Pretty Pink Princess

Only for PvP, though.

Slowly, by dropping it by the ton or 10 and him scooping, I had a type6 at the time 100 cargo, if he took me up on the offer I was going to meet at a station and drop him Palladium or gold outside a station where he could sell it for a good price.

He had such a good attitude to losing 6 months progress and a brilliant sense of humour I would have happily spent a whole evening or two, maybe more, dropping him cargo, the fact he was a Dad with limited time and I am not a Dad and my spare time is my own added to that too.

Credits are a by product of fun for me, even though I only have 5 times insurance in my "ooops I bought it a bit too early" Python I still have a Type6 & a Vulture too fall back on, I would also still offer a million to get someone started again if I read a similar post again, although I would request spoiler tags labelled "remove liquids" as the "nose cannon" was painful (and messy).

Hah! When I played Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries.. my youngest sister wanted to play.. Hot Pink Mad Cat.. was ensured when I went overseas ... I was supposed to leave my computer with her so she could play it apparently.

HA! I made custom pink skins for an all-female team of mechwarriors (i was coach) who got all the way up to and winning the Battlenet Mech Championships.
