I played all day yesterday in open and about two hours today. But this last hour has been reading "bro hard" messages and being repeatedly interdicted by a sore loser. This was all fun up to part where im interdicted a million times and then it just got ridiculous.... I can do without this kind of "interaction".

If the other player is acting like an idiot, why don't you just block that player instead of going to Solo mode? If the commander was swearing at you, you could report him for that.

If necessary to avoid the player, you could switch to Solo mode until you escape to a another system. Still, I don't like Solo mode. I haven't experienced any unacceptable interaction with other players as of yet, resorting to Solo mode over a single bad interaction seems like a bad idea.

Yea, i could. But it wouldn't guarantee i would never see them again. Im sure they have died several times over since which is punishment enough, people like that only make enemies.

I switch between Solo and Open everyonce in awhile when i feel like meeting randoms and chatting but so far ive only found asocials and psychopaths. lol
But the main reason why i play Solo more than Open is because of networking. The game is P2P for one, and two my internet sucks... which can cause some really weird stuff to happen when people from the other side of the world are in the same place as me.

It's very simple, play solo if you don't want to be killed by people like me or play online if you want to be killed by people like me. But, make no mistake in that hiding in solo mode and buying a more expensive ship will not help you in PvP. You will fail hard and you will lose a lot of money if you think you can fit out an Anaconda or Python and come after my Viper. I will own you even if you fly the most expensive and best equipped ship on the market, because ships don't win PvP. Pilots win PvP.

Frontier has made a big mistake here because they think PvPer's won't go after the big player ships. We will, and we will make space dust out of every single one of you.

HAHA understandable. Its like, when you see a kid misbehaving in front of their parents and the parents do nothing about it even though that particular behavior will only give rise to worse in the future, you just gotta raise the hand sometimes XD
