SC has the most satisfying flying experience in all the flight games I played. Even in this early state the flight gets my heart pumping.
Yeah, you've been saying this since the first iteration.

I pity the ones not bold enough to try Star Citizen right now, dismissing the flight model and saying there's no flying just shows 2 things, that people haven't played the game or that they are really bad at it!
I'm no pro pilot/aimer but im way better now than 3 weeks ago, I can feel the progress I've made , from combat awareness to aiming and controlling / flying the ship's... The amount of adrenaline whille playing SC reminds me of the times where I started pvping online, that rush... that fear and accomplishment/frustration on every win/defeat...it's hard to explain...

I've been trying it since it was released.
I play with HOTAS and TrackIR, because I don't wanna hear about playing it with anything less.
So far it's a disaster and I could never make myself play it for more than 10min.
There's absolutely no sense of flying, acceleration, deceleration, mass, inertia...you know, the usual things related to flight...
But yeah, here's to hoping.
Btw. do they still call it pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha ?
Ah ok, thanks. The blur is due to hi G's if I remember right. It can give a reddish then black out type vision also.

I recommend following and watching that YT user, he post's often, also keep practising, this flight mode is unlike anything I've played before, it required a format of all I knew about flying, basically you have to get a new complete set of skills to succeed!
Star Citizen plans on honoring Leanard Nimoy in some fashion in the game:
http://partedveil.com/index.php?p=1"e=4519483
"Hey guys,
No petition necessary. I think it's safe to say that Mr. Nimoy was an inspiration to all of us on the team, both acting as Spock and because of his core, kind humanity. We will find an appropriate way to honor him.
I'm a big guy, but I'm not too big to admit I broke down sobbing when I heard the news. Nimoy as Spock shaped so much; even if you weren't a Star Trek fan, he was an essential part of the culture. And if you were a Star Trek fan, you surely saw yourself in cold logic masking deep passions, or his romantic ideal of the loyal best friend. And it was all the more impressive that the man behind the character was such a good person. I know he had a good, long life, and one truly lived... but the world still seems a little darker this afternoon. "
Why are they doing it?Is the Leanard Nimoy a Star Citizen fan?Did he ever play the game?Or this is again a marketing trick and use of man's name? Can CIG just leave the man to RIP,is Nimoy in his past ever ask for something like this or simmilar? If it is sure then why not,but otherwise I am seeing this again as a cheap&dirty way to gain some of the Star Trek fans on the board of the SC and earn more $$$$...
That is nonsense. FD will most likely name a station after him as well (assuming there is not already one that we have not found). Any SciFi community would want to honor him, he had such a large impact on so many people, and on the scifi world in general that it only makes since that communities would want to honor him. It is very common for MMO communities to honor people that have had a large impact on that world and work.

Let's wait till they announce how they plan to honor him..Ok...If they decide to give some star or planet, space station by his name or something like that, it's a one thing but if they decide to make a ship or shield, weapon that later on they selling that for a real cash that's the other story...
