Bah, that is not the half of it. An even worst idea?: Moderators in a forum in the internet.
Today on SC, I had a frustrating, exciting day. I decided I would load my Cutlass black up full of cargo for a cargo run. Well that ended poorly when I face planted into a moon at 1115 m/s or so. There went about 3400 in cargo and a rebuy (free). So instead of waiting the 15 minutes in game for the respawn, I decided to play Elite.
I did the wing assassination missions in my Cutter. I did a few of them, before I got a 100 credit fine and I had to jump all over to pay it off, as I could use the stations port. I thought you could pay a fine and it would allow you to use the station. Anyways, after going to the 3rd party sites, I got it paid off. In my engineered Cutter, I was still getting beat up on. Which I expected going into a lvl6 USS. After getting frustrated running around, I went back to SC.
Today, it finally happened. I got a Bounty Hunting mission for another player. How do I know, I was at a moon respawn point after my face plant, and my target was at Port Oli. So I stalked him, the target ran into the port, as I cannot shoot there, I sat waiting over the strut he was in. Over Chat, I warned that I had an active Bounty for a player, just to warn those wanted. Anyways the target came out, got in his ship and started flying away. So I followed. Right outside the no fire zone, I lite him/her up. It must have taken them by surprise, as they initially tried to run, no dice. I collected my 1081 credits.
Next bounty didnt turn out that well. It was against a NPC, I took out the target but, not his two friends. They literally took out my engines. I was expecting to be killed, when blue targets showed up and engaged them. With no engines, I could not go anywhere. So I tried my quantum drive, it still worked. 2 jumps later I was back at port oli. I got to just over the port and was stuck. How this happened was interesting. My forward Thrusters didn’t work, but, my maneuver Thrusters did. Once you leave quantum travel you are at max normal speed, which was 220 m/s for me. I floated into the port and maneuvered around until I stopped. I was close enough to be considered docked and it stored my ship. I had to do a respawn, I paid to fast track it.
Next BH mission, against another player. They straight up owned me! Nothing to report, except a great explosion and waking up at port oli.
Since others dont don’t believe me, I might start streaming it. How do I do that, please point me in a direction, then I can learn from there.
My name in both games is Lord Pydus, add me. As I want to bounty hunt in a crew. I have turrets on my Cutter and SLF in Elite, and a turret on my Cutlass Black.

That’s $20 I will not be spending!!!! That’s crazy, but, I bet they draw a crowd. One things for sure, they know how to make money. Obviously, their is an consumer for the game. Now that countries are igniting the manned space missions, SC should do well in the future too.
This game tugs tugs at the imagination, hard. elite could too, but, they went straight aliens. They should have held those off for paid content. After they fixed the core game mechanics and gave landable plans.

probably just step 1. If this gets off I m sure they ll soon hide more "exclusive info" behind a paywall. 2 flies with one swat. They rake in additional income and they prevent all the haters from laughing at them at the same time. I m not sure I would call this strategy "good" money-making. If you have access to a crowd of cultists and poor slobs who are so deep that they cannot stop you dont really need to come up with anything clever in order to fleece em any further.
