Ok, less emotional observations
1. I am really surprised how they keep messing up Squadron 42 trailers. They look bad, editing and direction is awful (Chris, you can't do this, or at least you can't get your vision to be delivered), graphics start to look seriously out of date now. Also with all info is not ready to be delivered so....why it is even there?
2. Walking simulation part is....it is boring. And it hurts me to admit that, because I am fan of space legs. There are no breaks in that walking loop, yes, avatars still walk very stifly, there are no freedom in there, saw some NPCs teleporting all over the place, etc. I admit I still like CIG environmental artists, but there's lot of inconsistencies which again gives this smokes and mirror feeling; As for gameplay value I think other people already explained it better why it is bad idea. I personally do not want teleporting in ED anywhere at all. I will walk where I want and how long I want. But it has to be optional and reward has to be interesting, and there should be interesting breaks between;
3. Ship adverts are just painful to watch at this point. CIG themselves don't realize huge irony there;
Also this year I realized that I really just dislike this very strong advertising of the game which is years from being finished. It is just wrong. I always come back wanting to give SC a fair shake, but I go away always being disappointed about atmosphere it has. It is like someone writing checks over and over and over again which they can't cover. And other devs get smack down for smaller mistakes - or bigger ones like Hello Games. Why CIG should be immune? At least others HAS actual games live.
