Huh... I dunno about Brits and Yanks, but the way CIG was was pouring money and time into PR and stuff like "the Next Big Starship" for the last couple of months while FD was working hard on Elite... yea, I'm not surprise that SC isn't that far along yet.
I know that's probably not the real reason, but it sure looks like it...

Yeah its been interesting to see how both camps have handled their different approaches.
I was watching some US tv channels the other day and the major players ie ABC CBS FOX and NBC had adverts every couple of minutes. It was a knightmare (Captive, Knightmare by Anthony Crowther PC Game...) to actually get really into the program i was supposed to be watching.
I suppose thats the difference what lies between the different cultures, SC=ITV wheras ED=BBC if you get my drift...

I want both "sides" to take their time and do things right. If there are delays, so be it. It doesn't bother me as long as they're honest about it.

There's some really nice beers coming from the US these days, although you guys do tend to over hop them a bit sometimes.
I'm just dead tired of this immature "mytoyisbetterthanyourtoy" mindset of some people. To realize some of the...people...arguing their balls off must be well in their 30s or 40s is...scary to say the least.

Believe me, most of us hate the adverts too. So much so I typically record anything on network television so I can skip the ads. Especially in televised sporting events. If they are televised, which most are, the sporting event has built in "TV timeouts".
OT. And lets not forget Limit Theory.
After two or three bottles, my taste buds are numb and tipsy, so after that I usually just get what is cheapest and continue drinking.
In regards to any SC vs Elite talk...We should all remember that good manners cost nothing, and hugs are free.
