The system-map!

Hello!

Im completly new to this game wich i see have geat potential. Im also it seems a complete noob and/or idiot and a slow learner in this game, but thats oki. I have a question that i bet is awnsered somewhere but cant find it. Its about this system-map i have seen pictures from. Is it implementet yet so i can stop trying to figure it out or its there somewhere and im to stupid to find it out? It seems like that sytem-map can be very handy for missions and what not. As it is now i havnt managed to complete so much as 1 single mission. Im normally very good to figure out how games work pretty fast but... this time i fail at it. Have hard time travelling around and find out where to travel for my missions and what im supposed to do in those missions. ie what to kill, what to pick up and what and hw to deliver things.. Well you see... The confusion is total here and i cant get it out of my head that this system-map is the solution to my confusion. Might be so and maybe not... But still want to know! :S

By system map I will presume you mean galaxy map. Left panel in cockpit top choice, select, camera will swing around to point forward and a few seconds later Galaxy map will open.

While your there zoom out and you will see how big the galaxy is compared to the smallish bubble we operate in now.

Eventually all those systems will be reachable.

Open Left information panel (check your config for correct keybind)
Local system is shown
scroll up to galaxy map and here you can search for places .

They don't have system maps in yet, but they are clearly coming at some point.

At the moment only the galaxy map has been implemented and the system map should arrive soon but we don't know when.
The galaxy map shows the stars and a brief description while the system map should show the known bodies and stations within the selected system from the galaxy map.

Yes, its those im asking about. Well thx for helping me figure it out. Bummer those arnt here yet because they look awsome...
