Y'all havin' fun in there?
I saw the sign outside, thought I'd come take a look and see. Antarxes, Zebulon Antarxes, at yer service m'lady. Pint of your finest ale and a bowl of something salty with a bit of crunch would go down nicely thanks. Its been a busy day. *(wanders over to a table in the corner by the "Almost-Real-Corporation" fireplace and takes a seat)* 
Good Evening Mistress Garthyre *touches forehead*, Jack Daniels, Sol system, not that dishwater from the boonies, straight, ice, no lemon. When-ever you have a moment ma'am, no rush.
*Takes a stool on the corner of the bar, in view of the door, hangs his old battered leather jacket over the stool and seats himself*

I was late to that particular party and it was not a pretty sight - I haven't actually posted in it yet. It's like all the kids at school who have to be heard first. "me me me" - that's not to say they have nothing to say, but it needs reigning in... I'll go back at the end of the week I think...
As far as the mortals comment is concerned - I think that we're just a "significant" statistical sample

Mixed bag of news, gossip and amateur dramatics
I've just noticed the Forum Names section of the Backers Webapp has been removed - for me anyway.
I wonder how the whole 'Commander names approval' process is going? It would be nice if someone from FD dropped in for a lemonade and let us know. I wouldn't expect details, but general numbers - how many completed, how many left to do - would be appreciated. We'll only start imagining the worst, otherwise:
I'm sure it's not really like... that. Is it?
Oh and today is the anniversary of the death of Reg Presley, lead singer with The Troggs - a popular beat combo from Earth, 1960's. Can we have a moment's silence, please?

MICHAEL OK, you know where the coffee machine is and everyone's biscuit preferences. They are your main priorities. We've got your mobile phone number should any of us need a drink. The only other thing you have to worry about is this. We call it the 'Field of Dreams' downstairs, and your job is to go through each of these pieces of paper and - *waves hands in air* - sort it all out. Make sure no two backers have the same Commander name, make sure there's no swearing, and make sure there's no Han Solo anywhere. That's going to be my name. We don't care how you do it, just do it.

The INTERN stands staring across the room for some minutes, before a single tear rolls down her cheek.

The Franchise name? 'Restaurants at the end of space'. Specialised in serving 'Elite' real ale with Lavian brandy chasers.
