The Zoolympic Games

Yes, everything is fine. I'm slowly getting back into the game, but I don't feel ready for a project like this yet.
The enclosure is massive :ROFLMAO: Quote from my dad: THAT'S all for ONE hamster?

No, it's fine, I haven't submitted anything.
If I remember later, I'll show what little I've built outside of competition. But it's not something I'd submit.
That enclosure sounds great :D hamsters love to run and explore!

When I had hamsters and gerbils I would make very extravagant homes for them. I'd also let them run amok around my room and, to my mother's chagrin, the whole house sometimes. I made a burrow chamber for my gerbils once that was a foot deep and filled with safe soils and sawdust layers so they could make burrows in it. They loved it. It was connected to other rotostack rooms and tunnels so they had a palace really. I also had a hamster that found a way up a drainpipe into the ceiling and made herself a second home up there. She'd come down and go back to her cage, but take pouches of food and cotton wool up there whenever I let her out. I loved hearing her scampering around above our heads! My parents not so much 😂 I gave them a bit of a tough time haha!

Eh i think when it comes to a building competition everyone should be in the same playing field.
But as this is just for fun im not gonna be upset or something if someone is using scenery mods
Yeah, that's my feeling too. If it was a true competition with rewards etc, it would be hard to gauge things without knowing who was using what tools etc. Whereas with a fun challenge, who cares if someones fun is using mods :)

That’s how I felt too honestly. I will just uninstall all Mods for now then 😉

The prop pack I have included taxidermy so I think it would be unfair.

Thank you, that's very graceful of you 🙏 Again animal mods or the aquaria mod are okay.

Scenery mods blur the line a bit too much as props do the same job as blueprints at the end of the day, and are less accessible to everyone so I think best to add them to the 'do not use' list.

Does This Include Free Build Or Not?

So I am actually going to be awayfrom my laptop for about another week, sorry about the misinformation.

Anyways so sense free build is allowed is null exhibits allowed or is that a no, I mean I could full understand why it wouldn't be allowed.

I'm going to say no to that one.

Free build is allowed because alters mechanics rather than adding anything cosmetic. It enhances creativity, rather than replacing things you could make yourself with ready-mades.

Null exhibits is a mechanic mod, but it allows for game-changing cosmetics. Someone who uses that will have a lot more freedom in exhibit design, esp for this round which is likely to be more focused on interior building. It unbalances the competition too much and seems unfair to people who can't or don't want to mod.

Try to just stick with vanilla peeps and see what you can do with what is available to everyone. The game has so much content and this is a creativity challenge after all. Do more with less.

Oh okay then, that's fair, thanks
