Modes These arguments are tedious.

I disagree, PVP has a place in the game and most PVPers are nice people and can enjoy the game. It is the few that give the whole PVP community a bad name.

Can't you understand Mouse? PvP won't lose anything. They will just engage in their preferred playstyle in a mode that is not mine. They lose nothing. And it makes it fair for those that bought the game knowing that the modes are equally able to influence the BGS and PP. It's all about fairness. It's been done in other games and it can be done here. Why can't you see that? Would it help if I posted detached video snipes and singular quotes from player groups that will totally represent the whole group? I'm still trying to figure out how this whole "tank current game modes and alienate a portion of your player base" thing goes.

There is more to PVP then just area matches though. Would be best for Open PVP, Open PVE, PG, Solo

I wish, my skin wouldn't be Irish pasty white.
Seriously, one more shade whiter and Casper will sue me for impersonation and Dulux will name a paint after me.

I cycle between a translucent white, and translucent pink, based on my exposure to the sun.

Yea, I can get a tan from the Sun in Elite - me going outside to the real one is like watching Vampire in Blade go outside.

And if I want a really great tan for summer, Discord Light Theme :D

SPF 24 is great for protection from a monitor. Pants free has never been an option for me.

Good, Solo needs to be deincentivised. this is the whole issue here. Solo should not effect the multiplayer part of the game. Especially if you are removing yourself from open just to effect everyone else. Knowing I could be there to stop you.

Its not that youd be punished in any way as a solo player. Your personal Faction Rep and even your credit making would remain the same. The levels of effecting another player base system/Infleunce wise would be what changes here.

And yet you act as though you are flabbergasted when solo players balk at this? Can you really not see the EXTREME negatives for my playstyle in the above? Really? You have to be trolling, because you honestly can't actually believe it.

That's the beauty of the system we have right now. Regardless for who is playing what, you can work to stop them, just not the way you prefer. Never forget, the BGS swings both ways. Yes, people in Solo and Private Groups affect open, but everything that happens in Open affects Solo and Private Groups all the same. You don't need to see me to stop me, so it's not about stopping me, you just want something to blow up. Go attack NPCs.

Attacking NPCs is like shooting fish in a barrel, I'd rather kill noobs in Eravate, at least they feel the pain.

As for not needing to stop you, sure I need to stop you. Let me kill you 10 times per night, count the total rebuys. This conflict might end up costing you more than you wished.

For some. Requiring the target to "feel the pain" is an interesting point....

I can guarantee that my rebuy after 10 losses can be exactly zero credits....

No guarantees you will stop him, he might evade you, or he might kill you. Either way, while the PvP is going on, nobody is making progress on the BGS, so at best you get stalemate, worst case they evade you and then they are ahead.

The only way to beat someone is to play the BGS better than they do.

I love it when someone reveals that it isn't the skill of PVP, that it isn't the challenge of PVP... instead they freely emits that they PVPs for the purpose of causing "pain"... and that the reason they don't shoot NPCs (after doing so to get their ship and get it outfitted... but NPCs are beneath them) is because they can't inflicts pain on them... cause an emotional response... to mine salt... to try and cause another human misery... just because they can.

And then these people are baffled and clueless when others don't want to play the game with them. And blame the modes and FDev for the problem instead of looking in the mirror.
