They are the dreamers of dreams. They are not the enemy! They are the content makers

This thread is for CMDRs who want to take a stand against "kill on sight CMDRs" (kosc) at high population systems, such as CGs and Engineers. A general thread that we can discuss and keep in contact about wrong doings and a like.
Anyone can join in and help, the more the merrier. Even if you're not PvP orientated or just want some fun and Pew Pew some targets that need to see that rebuy screen as we have many times, please dont hesitate and we can take the fight back to them. Even if you've never done any type of PvP before (Im no expert far from it, just wonna take the fight to them) or just want to learn, then hopefully this is the thread for you

(((Also we are aware of the on going problems with instancing etc. But this isnt the thread for that and also not the thread for complaining about the KOSCs, as the title suggests (CMDR OZRAM™) lets make content out of them and just play the game)))

!!! NO NAMING AND SHAMING, JUST SYSTEM INFO ONLY !!!

I would like to start making a list of CMDRs that are willing to intercept your calls for help and be able to add ingame so we can assist the best way we can

CMDR MRMAURICE
CMDR MOZIWANI
CMDR DIG_BICKINGTON
CMDR OZRAM
CMDR JARRED DUMAS
CMDR NFUROX
CMDR LEKENO
CMDR STORRIS

Please do not abuse this list of CMDRs for any other intentions other than to help or notifiy us of the above mentoned information. If this does get enough attention then a discord channel/team speak will be considered for easier communication.
Any other information that should be added or Ive missed, please comment and give your thoughts and ideas

!!! I REPEAT, NO NAMING AND SHAMING !!!

/mod hat most definitely on.

I'll just add, let's not have people throwing insults and name calling of individuals or groups. By the same token naming and shaming is a definite no-no.

Remember, if you don't like the PvP, then there are other modes available.

What have we told you about trying to be sensible on forums? ;)

I have to say that I am surprised that a player driven task force hasn't been created specifically for this purpose. I know lots of people say that you'd just be providing the gankers and griefers with what they want, i.e. a fight, but I think that they're wrong because bullies are essentially cowards. That's why they set upon traders.

And even if they were right, gankers are still just looking for kills and a laugh. You can deny them both kills and a fight by hanging out at the same spots that they do (CG, engineers etc) in Open. When one person finds a ganker, just follow them when they interdict a trader and help the trader escape. Then high wake out of there yourself so the ganker does not get the chance of a kill. There is a reason they hate combat logging so much.

If the ganker persists, then wing up and keep killing them. If the gankers wing up, then you can wing up as well and it makes it easier to track them and then jump out as soon as the trader has escaped.

Personally I would prefer the tactic of killing just one of them in a wing by all concentrating fire on the one that you all agree beforehand is the weakest. Dying like that would then be an insult and it would be extremely frustrating if your peers kept seeing you die immediately because you were perceived by your enemies to be the least skillful.

You could even have alt accounts flying around as a harmless noobie to act as a honey trap so when they get interdicted, a nearby wing of combat ships come in to protect it.

Understood. Its designed more to arrange for CMDRs to meet and wing up for PvP against kill on sight cmdrs, NOT to complain about it but to actually play it :p. Its a continuation from another thread about CMDRs being killed at engineer places. A few CMDRs on that thread wanted to take the fight back so I thought a new thread would be better suited. I do want to keep it friendly, welcoming and fun

Just wait until stupid hippy posts on this thread, I'll call him stupid hippy right away.
You have no power here. :)

This is exactly my kinda thinking

Hey looking forward to a bit of fun. Glad you started the thread OP. Yeah, not a bad place to post whenever some action is going on on line. That way, anyone who's close by and interested can either join up and see if they/we can take the fight to them (all good fun win or lose) or on the flip side a nice early warning thread for those wishing to avoid trouble. Any of you killers out there see this, you know I love you! Just looking forward to presenting a bit of a challenge that might be more fun than tradecondas, T7s and other CG innocents :). Also, if you feel like extorting the general population, why not consider the odd barter.... say safe passage for some unobtanium or other? All good spirits! Glad you're here Agony. Hope this thread stays as positive as the OP intended it.
Cheers.

Because it doesn't work.
Instancing, matchmaking, instant re-spawn at the station, "make credits fast" methods.
It's absolutely futile.

If your intention is to shut them down you're right. It absolutely will not work. If, on the other hand, you are trying to give them something to shoot at aside from the T6s at CGs and other points of interest, it just might.

Even if the intention is to have some fun combat against them is close to impossible unless you are lucky to get into the same instance. And then they have to stay in that instance.

But trying to do so can be fun, if the player is patient enough.

Well that's it. All in good fun. I find you have better chances of getting in the instance if someone you are friends with is already there and you join them, which may also be an interesting thing to test and give feedback on. I like that it's points of interest because well, there will usually be some other reason for being there as well. We could set up scouts and escorts if there are enough of us too. You know, peak in and see if the coast is clear. Just don't fear the rebuy screen and stay positive!

I think it's called anchor wing or something like that.
One player jumps into an instance, looks if any potential oppositions is there, then creates a wing and the rest of the group/wing jumps in.
If opposition shows up, one jumps out, gets out of the wing and tries to find a new instance.

Repeat.
