I'm a bit sympathetic on this one.
I find many screens that you commonly use for routine actions can become repetitive and you tend to auto-click without carefully reading, and then you do something just slightly differently and you auto-click and the button you hit that's in the same spot as what you'd hit in a routine transaction ends up losing a ship or a module.
I would like a more deliberate input requirement when you are about to lose something permanently.
Asking the player to type "YES" seems appropriate.
Old people are creatures of habit...
