I got the game on Friday, but have played about 2 and a half hours of it because I was waiting for a fix for the textures bug. That came today and I played through the first zoo in career and went on to the second zoo in Madagascar. One of the Bonobo's escaped through a broken fence, so I had to select the fence and delete it. I selected it and deleted it, but the "please select and delete the fence" tool tip wouldn't go away to trigger the next part. So now I can't complete the tutorial. This is on top of the problems I ran into in the first tutorial when placing and replacing walls, like when I had to put one-way glass on a Snow Leopard enclosure but the game just wouldn't let me do it... It's really frustrating.
I'm actually really regretting buying this, and I've now gone over the 2 hour limit on Steam for a refund...
I know games development is difficult, but why do FDev keep releasing games in such a state? It's getting to the point where I'm going to have to start thinking very seriously about whether or not I can be bothered going through the pain and frustrating of buying a new game on release, or wait a few months to see if it's actually become playable. And I'm sure I'm not alone in this.
I'm not angry, just severely disappointed.
