Wait... Like Ham the first US monkey in space? Or like Sea Monkeys™, so tiny brine shrimp colonies but in space? Or Fight Club-style Project Mayhem shaved space Monkeys, which I'm not allowed to talk about? Or Planet of the Apes "Monkeys", which are truly futuristic but technically earthbound and pretty not ready for rocketry, unless Dr. Zaius can reverse engineer Taylor's ship?

Actually, if I remember correctly, the original films show Zira and Cornelius escaping Armageddon in a spaceship and making it back to the past from where Taylor came from. So yes, there were space monkeys in the Planet of the Apes!
The first game has you ether frisk monkeys for nuclear codes you get attacked for...
...or murder them all.
The second game has you punch one or blow them up with rockets in a mini-game for store discounts.
The third one...

I dunno if they're in the third one.

If you add space monkeys, you'll just open the box of the pandora. There'll be players, who want space pengunis, the next space whales, I'd like some space giraffes por favor, i know one guy who'd like space unicorns, and so on and so forth
