Edited the Binds doing a search/replace the old Device Id and replace with the new one. One obstacle down...

Followed the installation instructions putting in the soft springs and the small range of motion ring and the Jet cams. Followed the calibration procedure.

Load ED and UH-OH... uncontrollable

Checked the test screen and the joystick is amplifying the movement so that if you move the stick fwd it goes to the top of therange and then goes to the bottom and then back to the top 4-5 times while only pushing the stick fwd once.

Sent to tech support - awaiting response

I have just done the same thing!
Can you tell me what the device ID for the AVA is?
Did you install special drivers for the AVA or using windows ones?

Sorry just got home after a few days out of town...

<Binding Device="044F0415" Key="Joy_YAxis" /> should be the relevant entry

Look at your current device ID and just do a search and replace to insert 044F0415 for whatever you current base id is.

As always MAKE A BACKUP before making changes

Been a while since I did this but IIRC this should be correct


Your current binds file should be in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings Custom.4.2.binds unless you've done an edited name file.
