I haven't upgraded to Horizons, mostly because SRV's or Engineers didn't seem that interesting to me, I didn't want to add another layer of "grind", and I read a lot of forum posts about issues in each release of 2.x. Lately though I've been considering it, 1.6 is getting a bit stale and it's time for something new. But every time I read about no commodity storage, and idiotic RNG mod mechanics, and each time I get interdicted incessantly because I have 4t of coils or hoses, i grit my teeth and want to hold off until they fix these things as they are/will only be frustrating.
I like this game a lot, I'd rather put up with the odd issue now (updated delivery in 0.0h....) rather than get frustrated with bad design and bin it.
So, does the good outweigh the bad? Should I just keep on with 1.6, add 2.1 now, or wait until 2.2 (and the inevitable problems/patches) has the kinks worked out?
TIA
