Timer for completed missions..

Of course i can understand that the dude who offers the mission gives a Timer to power up a settlement.
But why, serious, why is the timer still counting after the settlement is powered and the mission is shown as completed ?

Right now you can`t even wait for servers to work normal after you get disconnected multiple times.
How is this working for new players who get 100.000 Cr fines because they can`t hand in this Missions ?

Right now it is just a point of "Luck"..
Repower the settlement with a regulator, get rid of fires maybe, and hand in the mission.
Problem 1:
You get a disconnect and the regulator is gone: 100.000Cr Fine
Problem 2:
You can`t hand in the mission, transaction server error.

The server situation is temporary, of course.
But this timer makes no sense.

Or is the sense to give players who wont get paid in 6 Hours a 100.000 Cr fine ? :p
Me as mission-giver whould be happy if a dude want`s his money immediately^^

Agreed. I spent yesterday evening massacring but forgot to claim missions. I was tired, went to sleep, and woke up in a panic remembering that I never claimed my completed missions. Of course they had expired / become failed at that point... 👿

Agreed, timers should stop after mission objectives being met. Even better, for most missions I should not have to return at all. Its not just a waste of time, it prevents the intended 'roaming the galaxy' gameplay. Unless I need to bring something back, just call me in my ship and wire me the rewards. Faster, more fun, less bug-prone, less frustration, simpler.

FD. Just do it.

yeah, just have a drop down that allows one to claim completed missions... it makes a lot more sense than the current system

The main objective is complete, but apparently the mission isn't actually complete. For some reason returning and collecting the reward is part of the mission?

Yep. Its dumb.
