Release Trade Computer Extension Mk.II

I just LOVE the Mission UI.

How many here have forgoten to deliver that last 1 or 2 missions because you didn't check the Transactions tab? :D

Now I have a reminder, right in front of me. Just love it!

Great work, Eventure!

I'm not sure what I should do with the changes to Star System names in Colonia. Attempting to Modify Market doesn't help as I'm unable to change the Star System and updating the Market Position also doesn't update the station with the new Star System name.

This is what I have done and it appears to work: Change the old Star System Name to the new name in the db manually (Both Stars and RMarkets db's) and then check in TCE that it's updated correctly in TCE, which it has.

However TCE thinks the OGMA in the bubble is also at my current destination, so I have to delete that from the DB also, by setting the Star System name to #EMPTY. Which appears to work.

However the Unregistered market EYHARTS PLATFORM in the bubble OGMA is still present in the UMarkets db, is it OK to just leave this and if/when I go there will it update accordingly or will I have a duplicate?

I'm going to have to do this with at least 10 other system names in Colonia, which is fine if it's OK to do this. I don't yet know if the other system name changes in Colonia will also have duplicate system names from the bubble.

Yes, removing one system should be a solution, but the issue with duplicate star system names affecting all apps, trying to identify the location via the star system name. There isn't much, I can do in this case.

Yeah I've noticed as EDDB, EDSM and EDDiscovery are also getting confused. WHY FDev did you decided to use duplicate system names? WHY?

UPDATE

I've figured out that it's easier to update the Star System name prior to travelling to the system with a changed name, otherwise you end up having to delete data and this can cause other problems.

Small issue noticed, the sort arrows for PROFIT in the MARKET PLACES tab is being displayed as 'q' for highest profit and 'p' for lowest profit.

Thanks for reporting, are there are other arrows in the Nav panel, where the issue above is shown?

I didn't check. :eek:

1) Yes, DISTANCE in MARKET PLACES tab

2) Plus an odd character in STAR SYSTEMS and REGIONAL SUMMARY when Regional Summary system enabled.

3) Drop down in FACTIONS window and in FACTIONS SUMMARY LIST

Seems to be that your current windows system missing some fonts, TCE installs.

The missing are:
Webding.ttf
Wingdings.ttf
WingDNG2.ttf
WingDNG3.ttf

Please check, if they are available at the FONT folder of Windows. Otherwise installing TCE should add those fonts.

That makes sense, as I've just formatted my PC, but TCE was on a different drive so I didn't reinstall it. :x

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Looking forward to your input as always will be sending a big donation this weekend you done a hell of a job improving TCE since I left.

I don't because I get somewhat anxious when I have missions not completed before I log off. But it's still a useful feature.

Windows 10 problem:
I just upgraded my system to Win 10 Pro. I fired up ED with no problem. I launched TCE, fine so far.
Now the problem: None of the keyboard shortcuts (F5=main panel hide/show, F9=Summary) work anymore though all assigns are correct.

If this problem has been posted before, I am sorry but you understand I can't read all 267 pages.

EDIT: Problem solved. I changed key to a different one and then back to the previous. Restarting TCE and keyboard assignments work.

Have you tried turning them off, restarting TCE and then Turning them back on? I'm running Win 10 so it's not an OS problem.
