When on the galaxy map and entering the station data into TCE. After I start entering the data for the station in TCE, I then move the mouse pointer over something in the galaxy map, the galaxy map will change to whatever I moved the mouse pointer over. I then have to click on the station on the galaxy map that I was entering the data for to get it's details showing again.
Hope this makes sense.

Perhaps I misunderstood, but what data you getting from the GALAXY map for a station? Perhaps you meaning SYSTEM map?

The first reference star system are stored at the clipboard automatically. After you hit the enter key for a distance of a reference star, the next name is copied into.

Thanks!

The main issue I still see (0.9.9.2) is when going to a planet with two planetary outposts on it. I can't make TCE see they are different, even when I add a different planet id for each outpost (even though they're on the same planet...I just want TCE to see they are two different places).

It is important that you have stored the planetary outpost with the TCE Mk.II, not with the Mk.I (in case you imported the database).
If so, please fly to each port and update the port data. I will checkout a routine, which automatically updates the position data of a station or port, if they are not recorded before.
It is required to supercruise between the ports (non-normal flight).
If all is fullfilled. it should detect the ports individually.
If not, I require your database and a netlog file with the recording of your flight between these ports.
Thanks

Update (0.9.9.4) released:

Changelog:
- Fixed an error on saving a modified star system.
- Validating TCE.db (Personal) and fixing on start, if saving personal data results in a crash or data is corrupt. Invalid personal data will be deleted. You have to create it new.

Note:
Copy the content into your TCE folder to update your version. No re-import of old TCE MK.I databases required.

When the summary panel unhides when entering a system, it pops up like it should, but only shows the info for a second, then that panel goes black and rehides. Clicking on summary it pops up, but is all black.

It was indeed imported from MKI before I visited again in MKII. I have used TCE to delete the market database/markets/delete. I will revisit each on (supercruise req'd between) and let you know how it goes.

Found the problem, will be fixed with the update tomorrow.

Success!

After doing the above, I went to the first port and added it. I then went to the second, and although TCE still thought I was at the first, I went database/markets/new entry and added the port I was at. I then left and returned to the first port, and TCE correctly saw I was there. Nice!

Great! Thanks!

Nice one, didn't even get to try 0.9.9.3 lol!!

Eventure,
Just another observation (v0.9.9.4).

When you move the mouse over SUMMARY button it Highlights it in inverse colours, Orange/Black.
The WAYPOINTS button appears to be stuck with Orange/Black and the CREDITS button stuck with Black/White.

***Update***
Options Panel, distance to star, allegiance, market location and Minimum Buy Stock don't show the correct drop down graphic, they display 'q'

My mistake, it is the system map.
But don't you bother with it. I've found if I move the TCE panel to the far right of the screen where there is no items on the system map there is no problem.

Was about to post about this so will now go back and test what you said, as although i went out into SC it displays the same port as you said from the other side of the planet. At this point i came here and you may have given me the answer :)

Edit: ok this didnt work for me, i inputed on planetary port details and then went away from the planet into SC and came back to the other side of the planet and docked inputed the new market details for the planetary port and then flew away from the planet and back to where i had just created the new market, but it showed the market from the other side of the planet again.

Not sure how or what to do to fix this issue?

Sorry what details will be needed etc?

I have not heard of an ED problem with the netLogs. Are you really sure you are looking in the correct folder and you have set VerboseLogging correctly? You don't have ED installed twice by any chance? Even with VerboseLogging not set, you should still have files in your ED Log folder. Something is not correct here.

I have searched all my drives and there is only 1 install - below is what is in my AppConfig.xml (all 3 of them one for 32 bit, one for 64 and one for combat tutorial). The ONLY time I have had a file show up in the logs directory is when I tried to start ED WITHOUT using the launcher, just tried launching EliteDangerous64.exe. This failed and I got a log with about 10 lines in it. Nothing else ever.... PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT RUNNING HORIZONS.

<Network
VerboseLogging="1"
Port="0"
upnpenabled="1"
LogFile="netLog"
DatestampLog="1"

</Network>

Your database and your netlog file of the session. Thanks

The first thing I had done was delete the two planetary outposts using TCE. THEN I went to each one. Added the first. Entered supercruise, went to the second (TCE thought it was still the first). DO NOT EDIT that entry, create a NEW ENTRY with the details for the second planetary outpost. Then all should be fine.

If not, do as Eventure was asking me and send him your tce.db database and a netlog file with the recording of your flight between these ports.

*edit: Ninja'd by Eventure. Dude. Isn't it like 2am where you are??

Here is my suggestion:

1) Start ED as usual, till your are in game.
2) Go into the taskmanager and make a right-click on the ED game process (not the launcher, of course).
3) Choose OPEN FILE FOLDER and you will see the folder of the executable.
4) Set TCE to the folder above (appconfig.xml) and the log folder, which is within the folder (netlog path).

Thereafter close ED, start TCE and then ED again till you are in game. TCE should now detects you in space.

Eventure, now that we are running SQL version, can I ditch the Access 2007 run time (installation) files?
I've got windows trying to update them but not sure they are necessary.

.

I have the same problem. I am in an area of space I haven't been in since TCE Mk I but everything works except the System Summary Panel. If I exit TCE and then restart TCE the Summary panel displays correctly while TCE is starting. If I then reopen the Summary Panel it is all blacked out. Everything else works fine. I can plot trade routes, TCE suggests Trade routes etc.
Summary Panel Error.jpg

Just to add a little more info I upgraded to 9.9.4 just before starting to play and even when I fly to a barren system that only has a sun the Summary panel is still blank as per the screenshot.

Is the market services still supposed to entered manually? I notice that the outfitting portion is always filled out after I connect to EDMC. But I would still have to enter everything else such as repair, restock, shipyard and all ships located inside shipyard, etc.
