Tritium Trading methods.

Quiter. I did several full 23k loads and unloads myself that 1st few weeks of FC , 62 return trips , 124 flights a full buy / sell cycle. But then the 1st week especially you could buy at 10k or under and sell at 85k. Keep all the profit yourself.

Emptied your hold and topped off your carrier with Tritium. Thanks for the work! I'll keep watching the boards for more work.

Jumped to buy system . INARA BB updated. Back to a recent fave, on the station moon again so nice short flights, 40 seconds in a T9. Enjoy. Out of curiosity, did you stay aboard my FC after working or did you fly off elsewhere?

And immitation is the best form of flattery, have another cmdr pm me and ask to use my system, he has an ad on IN BB now too! lol.

I think I may have taken advantage of your service the other day before I saw this thread. But now that I know you update your whereabouts on Inara, I may start stalking you around the bubble with my python (oooh matron!)

I didn't stay on the ship. I don't know if I would either. Kind of afraid of staying on fleet carriers because my hauler has poor jump and afraid of waking up somewhere that will take forever to get back home. I had to go and meet a fellow CMDR right after the work anyway.

Easy, buy a decent FSD A rated and store in my FC, you can swap it for cargo racks whenever you wish. Or build a A rated FSD DBX with decent stock jump range, 38 LY i think, and store that on my FC. Use it a bubble taxi.

That's actually what I'm going to do. I'm going to likely be storing cargo racks on your FC when away, and when working, store boosters and scoops, etc.

Don't know if I'll be available for the next run today, MarkyH, but wanted to say thanks for providing the services and ability for me to make some cash. I swapped out most of my T9's optionals for cargo racks, and the originals are stored on your ship for when my involvement ends. Today I made about half a billion over one buy and sell run, i.e. nine more days like this and that's a base FC! Plus you got some excellent spots.

Edit: Oh, wait, you're setting up the next jump already. Good, I'll get a wee bit of that too before I have to stop.

I've joined in the trader/hauler game and my carrier (LBB-W6Z) will also be doing the same thing as MarkyH. I'll also be fitting a Shipyard and Outfitting for visiting pilots to ue should they wish to do so.

Look on the Inara bulletin board for up to date details of where the carrier is and will be going.

Fly safe commanders.

Quick tip to help you out, noticed on your BB you mentioned you are adding new SY+ OF services 1st, before off loading your current Cargo load of tritium. Just think about that for five minutes before you do it, you will thank me.

It's the age you know, once you get past a certain point you start to lose it.

Thanks for pointing that out.

I spent better part of the day loading up the carrier. Wish it was closer to the station. Docked while jumping to the next system and unloaded it with other commanders in about an hour, unbelievable. That was the first time I ever jumped in a carrier too so that's cool! Have several modules in storage and my ship is onboard now. Thanks for the trucking job!

Had a lot of fun trading Tritium lately and hunting down good buyers.

Last run I made 315 millions profit selling 4000 tons (5 runs with my T9) of Tritium from my FC parked at 3.5Mm from the buying FC. Took me around 30 minutes.

Tritium in my cargo was bought @4k a few days sooner and I sold it @83k to the buying FC.

4000 t x (83k - 4k) = 316 millions

Loved the whole process of hunting a good price, scouting the FC with my DBX to see if the information was still right and than request my FC to jump a few Mm aways and start hauling.

FCs really added a nice dimension to trading. Would only love if we could have a live market for FCs where we can see all buy and sell orders directly in the game with updated data.

I've been living on your carrier past few days. I have a ship stored there and several modules, very very convenient. You probably notice when I am working because I usually top off the carrier with trit at buy stations, least I could do for a good employer. Good work on MarkyH's carrier for sure, +5 rep. I usually watch system chat but I never hear your announcements, maybe because I am on Xbox.

Could be, i'm on PC. In doudt check my INARA BB ad, I always update it asap and changes. But if you are on thr FC anyway, you can just log in, see what's what's, where it is, and start making credits.

So, at the moment how do you see what a Fleet Carrier wants to buy and sell? Do you have to dock on it and it will tell you on a screen somewhere?

Don't think there's anyone on mine as yet. No real way to find out I guess. Maybe it will happen but the carrier gets loaded and unloaded anyway.

Inara is what I tend to use but the real clue at the moment is in the carrier's name. FDev haven't provided an in-game way to advertise prices that is effective as yet, so the carrier name and Inara are the best bets. Otherwise dock on the carrier and see.

@MarkyH I've checked all four stations in Alectrona and it's not a buy system any more, post-tick.

I am on XBox too and don't see any messages in system chat from you either, in fact I don't recall seeing any from any non-NPC player.

for trading with carriers becomes a nightmare, inara and especially ingame prices are mostly out of date if you arive even if its 3 sec later(or carrier is friends only). Ingame tools are worse as hell. Sorry fdev but you have to figure out a way keep this halfeway in time. Best for sell is to update inara via tooll or the page itself

Always do a quick check of the INARA BB , listen for jump announcements or if bunking on the FC , poke you head out the door. I sussed this within 5 mins of us arriving, we are already in Varpet large pad system. been here since 10.30am . lol
