What's fake about it?

The President fired the director of the FBI because said director was investigating connections between the Presidents appointees and Russia.

"What's fake about it?"

That right there is the problem... nobody knows either way.

Close, but not that close, as long as he is within the constitution I'm good. Until now there is nothing but rumors and that is not going to remove anyone.

"Nothing but rumors"? We are taking about a testimony from the (ex)head of the FBI. Comey said he's looking forward to Trump's tapes. He'd better produce them if they are subpoenaed

I've a poor memory. Could you please remind me. Are you the poster who said that whatever Trump does is okay as long as you get to keep your guns?

"Dont vote for Obama he will take your guns!!!"
*Obama becomes president*
*Obama doesnt take their guns*
"Dont vote for Hillary she'll take your guns!!!"

Some people are just easily scared by nature. Some will leech of that fear. Its a sad truth about our species.

Pretty sure the same Comey was a Very Reliable Man just prior to the election according to Trumpees. :)

What gets me is they believe Trump when he says he'll let them keep their guns. Trump said and did anything to scam his way into office.

Look up the word "demagogue" and you'll find a picture of Donald Trump. And I should know 'cause I had to look it up to make sure I spelled it correctly.

The issue is really the geopolitical espionage and conflict between empires for me.

The gun stuff is just local politics. And I'm relieved that Lysander took my poor comment in good spirits.

Investigate what was done doing Obama and the Clinton's, they chip and cut the 2ndA away slowly bit by bit.
That is a fact, pushing the anti gun agenda has been and always will be something the Democrats will do.

However as I remember you don't live in the states and therefor can't really understand the issue.

Look there is nothing from what we saw today that will make Trump go away. You can stomp your feet all you want, but if there is anything there that will make him fall I will be the first to sign an impeachment petition.

You obviously wouldn't because there is already plenty of material to start impeaching Donald Trump.

Politically, he's still safe. Partisan defense is intact in the House.

Here's some legal opinions from educated people:

Jimmy Gurulé, Professor of Law, University of Notre Dame

Following former FBI Director James Comey's congressional testimony today, there is credible evidence that President Trump attempted to interfere with and terminate the FBI investigation of General Michael Flynn for reasons unrelated to the merits of the case. When considered cumulatively this evidence establishes a prima facie case of obstruction of justice.

Edit:
Coates and Rogers yesterday failed to testify whether or not they were influenced by Trump to stop investigations. Under penalty of perjury, they couldn't defend Trump.
So I'll bet that when Mueller gets to them, it will come out. This is far from over, and it's looking worse and worse for this Presidency.

The difference being that Comey is independent, and not an inferior of Trump. Its also nothing like 'the birth certificate of Obama'. Trump had a meeting with Comey, in private, and there is an investigation as to what happened. Obama's birth certificate is in the hands of the government, and noone but a bunch of inbred hillbillies doesnt grasp that. Its a bizarre comparison, really.
The President cannot tell the head of the FBI to do anything. The President has to go though the Justice department if he wants the FBI to do anything. The President IS the boss, but the Justice department has to agree to his demands, before the FBI gets any orders. Yes all 3 can be in the same room and the president can say I want this done; but the head of the Justice department has to give the nod.

The issue is; the Head of the Justice department was asked to leave the room, when Chump, 'allegedly' asked the head of the FBI to stop an investigation.

Fire the FBI Director, he can do just that if he want to.
Yes he can; any time he wants to. However: Unlike the business context, he has to give a credible reason and justification to do so. He has to explain his actions. He first tried 'the way he handled the last H.C. emails revelation', angle and no one brought it. He then tried to blame others in the administration and they publicly voiced that they were 'ordered to come up with a reason to fire Comey' and so Chump is on his own. It WAS without doubt, Chumps decision and desire that Comey be sacked; yet he still has to explain the reason, why?

You're ignoring context.

Superior saying "I hope" to subordinate over matter that subordinate controls is a very clear suggestion, if not veiled command.

Similar statements have been used in court before to demonstrate intent.

At the very best interpretation, Trump used language very badly.

What makes this less likely is his later statements saying about "the thing we have going on". Total gangster-speak. It's not one simple slip.

Do not misunderstand, I'm not saying that Trump did not have the intent to intimidate. I say that the meaning of the word "I hope" and whatever the context is not an order
