Sure would be nice if Frontier would have giveaways that non-Europeans could participate in... you know... without quitting our jobs.

Samurai no I haven’t received them in game yet but after many attempts it finally said my twitch account was linked abs showed me three boxes to claim on the frontier.net site.. I don’t know if it helps but I stopped using my Xbox account to sign in and started signing in with my actual frontier account, I don’t know for sure if that helped or not but it’s worth a go! Still not in game and still duplicated in the store but wants me to buy them and not give me them.

If you have redeem them with the frontier account you don’t have them in your frontier+xbox live account. I know because i did the same, and i redeem only the Srv paintjob for “trying”. But in my frontier+xbox live there isn’t nothing....

I think the next stream I'll just "watch" in a virtual machine and claim the drops before 7 (which is 8UTC).

@saberius Indeed I had the stream running, had my account linked - nothing in twitch, its as if it didnt register i was watching the stream - so 3am awakey for nothing /grrrrr

Yep, seems like the bugs are the Console players mainly but they better not try and get rid of us in the next patch....

Try going into this again. Do whatever, (link blah blah) then scroll down and see if you can claim on the same page.

You have to claim them on FDev's end as well. So claim them on twitch, then on the link accounts page, scroll down and claim them there as well.

Hi @Stephen Benedetti and Frontier. Thanks for organizing this, but I just wished it was streamed slightly earlier.
Where I am, it was past midnight when the stream starts and I am unable to participate because of family commitments in the morning.

Again thanks for organizing and looking forward to more such events that are hopefully more inclusive of CMDRs in other timezones.

For all the folks who could not tune in for whatever reason, the team have alreadybsaod that there will be other opportunities from their other providers. That being said it does seem like it would have easier to allow the drops for watching it any point, not just "live," but I know next to nothing about how it works...maybe that isnt possible.

I mean, maybe. It's a little fiddly for sure, but it makes sense to me. Twitch cant talk to our game client. So it has to talk to FDev servers. We redeem the drops on twitch. Twitch talks to FDev servers to tell them we got the drops and we have to acknowledge them on our side so server knows to add them. I dont see FDev giving external companies direct access to their servers, which I think is what it would take for it to be as simple as accepting them on Twitch only.

If this is going to be how it works every time, then much more explicit step by step instructions are going to help avoid a lot of unecessary support tickets.
