Twitch Drops Cargo Breach

Loving the Purple I have the detailing on my main though, and that's the email address I use for my Twitch account, so I guess there's no way of getting them over to my second account.

This will be stream time viewed alone, and we aim to make sure that our stream lasts over an hour tomorrow to allow players the time to be awarded drops.

How will you know how much time someone has viewed the stream for, if they haven't already linked their account? It's going to be interesting, but I've never heard of drops being done this way before.

Meh, if it's free then I'm sure I can load up a muted tab somewhere and burn some bandwidth.

Drops don't work if the tab is muted. Or at least they don't on any other stream I've got with drops, though none are done this way.

The game becomes more and more a toy for the kiddos. Fortunately there are still other games around for the more mature audience...

Those "kiddos" are a big part of keeping this game active, like it or not.

Muting the tab through Chrome at least works for every Warframe Twitch stream. They do it differently though you need to link to Twitch/Amazon BEFORE tuning in (and only once)

Stream it from your phone, muted inside your desk at work, that's what I did before becoming self employed.


Also, I see a lot of people in here that say they're "too old" to understand twitch drops or the like....You're playing an EXTREMELY COMPLEX space sim! YOU ARE SMART ENOUGH to make a bogus yahoo email account for a Twitch account that you ONLY USE for getting Free Elite Dangerous loot!

But no, this is not an acceptable scheme. Or are you suggesting that if a service (that I do not use) exist for x years I should get an account anyways? So next there will be a dual engineered scb for Twitch drops.. What is that? P2W? How about Prime Drops then?

Ah well that's not going to happen then, purple lights aren't that appealing!! Although if something more interesting rocks up in the future maybe I'll go as far as remoting to a virtual machine and letting it run without a sound device attached. Or maybe route the browser to a different audio device, that might work.

Set Twitch's volume to its lowest before being muted. Then turn your PC's volume way down as well. That's always worked when I've done it for ESO drops and couldn't watch it focused. =)

On Tuesday 24 November at 16:30 (UTC), during our Supercruise News stream, we will be testing out the Twitch Drops system for the first time, so come along to earn drops!

Once you reach the required time for a drop, you will then need to follow the URL, link your Frontier account to your Twitch account, and then claim your reward.
