The skin system in JWE2 is a great improvement when compared to JWE1 and the latest DLC's show some vibrant and beautiful options for our animals!
Still, it feels like a couple of the most famous dinosaurs in the franchise are being neglected.
The Velociraptor:
The Raptor had questionable skin options since the first game, and it's no different in JWE2.
The movie skins are great, but for those of us who like to mix and match skins, the base pattern is not as appealing as it could be.
The pattern has some splashes that by itself makes it look like some sort of rash or skin disease, especially on the jaw area. The back of the dinos is usually where the pattern shines the most, but in the Raptor's case, there's nothing at all.
A good and easy fix would be just to place a stripe on the sides that flows from the eyes to the tail, like in the example below:
The stripe complements and connects the splashes nicely and doesn't take anything away from the original design. The dark around the eyes make them stand out and also gives that "predator" look.
The Spinossaurus:
My issue with the Spino is that there isn't much variety in color choices.
At least five of the few options we have are shades of green. Would be nice if some of those were to be replaced by other colors especially blue, considering there is no blue option and the fact that they were fan favorites in JWE1 as you can see below:
