That's a nice build. I've pinned it...how do you deal with interdictions ? Do you submit and fight or just submit and low wake out again ? Or do you try to win the interdiction ? The Cutter is the only ship to be worried about I guess with its higher mass lock factor. Thanks for your help. Fly safe Cmdr, o7
The main thing I use the weapons for is smoking pirates who show up when I arrive in a ring.
I don't like being at the mercy of some yahoo in an Eagle or Adder.
Dunno how much scope for variety there is when it comes to NPC interdictions but I'm combat-Elite and I always seem to attract Chieftains/Challengers/Crusaders when I'm flying my T10 and I don't
really have much of a problem exploding them.
Agility is the T10's biggest shortcoming - and the reduced time-on-target that brings - so you can't really afford to be complacent.
Keep the throttle in the blue and go FA-off when turning to re-acquire your attacker.
It'd be
nice to fit turrets and leave them to defend you but as long as you're prepared to wrestle the T10 around in combat the extra DPS of regular weapons is more useful IMO.
That's where a bi-weave shield comes in handy too.
1000mj of shield isn't massive but it's substantial.
Given that you're unlikely to be attacked by anything that can mass-lock you, if your shield
does take a hammering you can escape into SC, wait until your shield regenerates and then allow yourself to be interdicted again if you're determined to explode your attacker.
Maybe worth saying, that's also why I'm a great believer in powerful lasers.
When I start a fight, I like to break an attackers shield ASAP so I can start inflicting permanent damage.
That way, I can bug out when my shield gets low and when I rejoin combat I know I've already inflicted
some damage on my attacker so I know that, even if it takes 3 or 4 encounters, I
am going to win in the end.
