Type 10 size and getting stuck in the airlock

Hi all.
Recently I came across a burning topic for me. Namely, the size of the Type 10 and its getting stuck in the gateways of the stations when docking. Yesterday I flew to the station for docking and it so happened that at the exit from the airlock I was met by 2 Type 9s and because of which I got stuck and could not get out at all, after which I was destroyed by the station's turrets. Will the issue with its elimination be somehow resolved, since the ship is too big and can easily get stuck or kill the shields about the airlock together with the hull. Can you expand the size of the gateway or specifically send a collision for Type 10?

Or just get a Cutter...
That's what I fly and I can always bull my way out without getting fined.

(Proper mailslot procedure: 1. Enter the mailslot regardless of previous occupants. 2. If you find yourself shoving against another ship, throttle up. 3. Ignore flight control yelling at you. 4. Boost if necessary. 5. Continue innocently about your business.) ;)

I my experience, T9, sometimes, and T10, often, scrape the mail-slot on the way in even using auto-dock and with them being the only ship in, or even near, the mail-slot. If you want to fly them, this is a fact of life.

Also, as recently reported (within the last month or so) by Galnet News Digest (YouTube), I've seen more NPC ships stuck in mail-slots all around the bubble lately and they are not being destroyed as they should be. So situational awareness is always a good skill to exercise regarding mail-slot transitions.

It's not a hard ship to fly. I hate to say this but, maybe use a different ship until your skills are up to spec.

Now, we all get that sometimes NPCs create situations at the mail slot that you just can not escape from easily. If you are stuck in that sort of situation then, before the timer runs out and the station executes you for loitering, log out. When you log back in, you will be Outside the stations no fire zone and free to go on your way.

It's all part of the learning curve. The ships have been designed in that way exactly to offer a challenge, it is part of their charm and making the mailslot bigger would nullify it.
Just get more practice (perhaps with smaller ships first) and next you'll be enjoying boosting in and out with it!

As I've said several time, even if they enlarged the mail slot just for this players would just demand a larger ship to carry more cargo, and the same players would again be complaining about getting stuck in the mail slot and wanting it made bigger. it's like the Panama Canal, you eventually end up designing ships just large to get through.

You drive a BMW irl don't you? 🧐

Buy a small ship :)

Two T9 and a T10 in the mail slot spells trouble. Did you consider letting them pass first?

I have a T10 and I might scrape the paint once in a while, but I never get stuck. But, as I said. Buy a smaller ship.
Well, why then type 10 if you can buy a small ship. I probably bought it for a reason?

I did not put the computer with auto-docking and flew in myself, the types appeared at the last moment when I was already at the gateway exit.

It's not about skill. I have no problems with other ships. Type 10 in the butt is placed in the airlock. Well, I didn't have time to get out of the game because I tried to get out myself because it was possible, but the physics of the game thought differently.
