So true currently as we're just working on assignments as we've been taught all we're allowed to be taught for now but thankfully I now have christmas holidays until January ish.

We used to be able to bring in board games and got shiny hats and orange squash for Christmas when I were a lad.

Amusingly there are one or two 'real'-sciencey followers to the Twitter account. Not sure if I should burst their bubble or not...

I'm minded to say it's definitely odd, though.

I didn't hear UA sounds, though, and the UA doesn't glow green - more bluey-green. Well, either way, what's in the trailer is a different hue to what we see on a UA.

That scene looks pretty dark (I blame the Mac's gamma) but by boosting the exposure you can see the green lights are on free standing structures around the larger 'brown' structure to the right. Data links? Defence turrets? "Welcome to Merope" signs?

Isn't the SRV in the trailer driving toward a very angular object on the ground? It looks very textured and the area started glowing green when it was approached. Time to call in the boyscouts.

Never did STO but yeah i can see Borg in that as well, it's that same lovely intense green.

We need to look for these things inside misty areas. These are obviously living organisms that can live inside such thin atmospheres. The planet seems to be rocky (not icy), but hard to tell.

For some reason I have a really good feeling about Coal Sack nebula.

And these things remind me of our ocean floor life

It's not only the green lights: it's the weird structure on the right, partially lighten, look at those beams, they looks so organic... It's not a human made construction for sure...
