In fact!
Bonds Hub is still functional, despite other systems, affected later, are already shut down!
So, could be that we managed to save Bonds Hub from shut down because of the mass Rares sale? Or just because we stopped selling UA there?

that's a good point maybe we should be selling a few UAs in Bond Hub to test this?

Tinfoiling further on this path, I think we can disregard the first phase (UA sales) since we don't know for sure where's the threshold.
However, the three subsequent phases can be measured (how long between galnet malfunction report, galnet shut down report and ingame shut down report).
It has to be measured in days, maybe there's a pattern, and maybe we can say for sure if we stopped malfunction spreading to all the bond hub station services.

I believe there would have been a Galnet post to announce the discovery of such a thing (not-cure).

Ahh, I hate having to try to parse MB's words with such care... seems like there's always some doubt as to what he means.

What does "spreading" refer to in this context (Soban touched on this as well)? Is it the spread of whatever is causing the stations to become "infected" or is it the the spreading of problems within a specific station, eventually causing it to suspend services.

I initially thought the latter, but am now leaning more to the former. That could mean the solution MB referred to was to "stop selling them". I really hope not.

But Bond Hub still up is a fact.
It was the third station to be affected after Warkushanui and 64 Arietis, even before 49 Arietis... and it is still up and running.

EDIT:
on a second note, Warkushanui System could hide some secrets, being the first System to experience issues, without any real explaination so far. Could be good to go there inspecting. Planets and Moons in 2.0. Could be the place where the Convoys were taking UAs secretly.

no idea, maybe archon delaine?
I don't follow PP much as it doesn't effect Varati :D

Archon has black markets in all stations in systems he control.

That's just because Bond has a better janitor than the other stations.

Our Emperor and Pranav Antal have black markets closed in control systems. Archon should have a black market in all control systems, even if they were none before.

I never payed attention if these perks actually work.

No but Galnet is transmitted via subspace/witchspace/whateverspace which is why we are able to access it even in an empty star system. This in itself is really an interesting possibility that GalNet may be on the fritz because of sever subspace/witchspace/whateverspace disruptions caused by "something" moving through and/or coming through it into the bubble like say millions of UAs/ a Thargoid Fleet/ the witchspace Cloverfield we talked about earlier.

People always thought I was crazy but I DO that I have seen things through hyperspace... those foo fighter orbs way out in the black where there shouldn't be other ships traveling to the 100s of dots traveling in formation (a la original Elite) way in the distance usually obfuscated by the swirly clouds once you spot them...

Something is going on and we will soon find out.

Wait, are the Galnet articles repeated in game too? If that's the case, this is something more serious than a website glitch.

I've noticed some odd things in witchspace recently too. I thought it was mostly space madness because I was returning from my first trip to the core, but there definitely looked to be solid spherical objects at times.

They've fixed triple Services Suspended at Carter Port message on https://community.elitedangerous.com/galnet/10-DEC-3301

So either the person who was responsible for posting news articles got a ''nice long talk'' with MB or alien virus has figured out that we've figured out the way it sends secret messages and changed its behavior.

Thanks for sharing that. For some reason, I've been giving this idea some thought over the past 6 months or so. How completely alienated (pun intended) people would feel. Reminds me of the episode of ST:TNG where they find the stasis ship from the 21st. century.

Khan was also found on a stasis ship too... the Botany Bay.

That wasn't such a good find.

There's currently only one article that I can see on the website. If it was still up then I was going to run it through an online diff checker to look for hidden characters. I must remember to do this faster next time we get a repeated article on the UAs.
