Ua: Solved it! :)

But you do know that you can get all sorts out of morsecode when you use . - method and just set spaces where you want to be, until it looks right? Thats a bit tricky with morse code. If the signal itself has no clear cuts to identify 1-2-3 sequences , you will get many messeages out of the signal by converting it to . and - . Like a giant puzzle. If you take the base of the transmitting, 6-7-8 blocks, you will not get a suitable message when you send it trough a decoder.

I got excited when I first read this thread and am still very interested in your results. I had a look over the first line of code and could only get FIRE & USED for possible beginnings. I thought about writting a program to give me every derivation from each line but the number of possible returns would probably out number the stars in the Elite galaxy.

Good luck CMDR's.

Each line is an individual sequence. Remember, we may be missing bits from the end of each one.

We've got "melv" and "gatewa".

Did some searching my self. Interestingly enough you can find "www." in this ONLY ONCE. Still, it may be an coincidence.

I thought about writting a program to give me every derivation from each line but the number of possible returns would probably out number the stars in the Elite galaxy.

I've just done that for the first three words of the first sequence and you're right, there's a ridiculous number of possible combinations. I liked FIRE KICK ICE '..-....-..-.-..-.--.-..-.-.' :)

Can hardly wait. If you need me, I will be in my Vultures cockpit warming up the engines and,,,,,

If the thinking is that there is a url within all this then the code immediately following should be .-.-.- and if, as some have said, there's a UK in there there should also be this .-.-.--.-.---.-.-.-..--.- (assuming .co.uk, or just .-.-.-..--.- for .uk). What's inbetween these two would be the domain name. It would be far easier to work this out, as there are far less permutations.

nah this is the actual code, but takes bit to work it out as it's interleaved harmonics

--- .... --..-- / .. .----. -- / .- / .-.. ..- -- -... . .-. .--- .- -.-. -.- / .- -. -.. / .. .----. -- / .- .-.. .-.. / --- -.- .- -.-- / .. / ... .-.. . . .--. / .- .-.. .-.. / -. .. --. .... - / .- -. -.. / .-- --- .-. -.- / .- .-.. .-.. / -.. .- -.--

Wow.. Haven't seen writing like this since the Roswell Crash..
:D

www. appears once on line 20 with the last letter a K. that would mean that the url ends in .ek, not uk

.--/.--/.--/.-.-.-/-.--.--.---.--/.-.-.-/./-.-

the first letter of the domain could be k,n,t,y

Not been able to find anything majorly "tangible" at present, but possible words of "intrigue" that I have found in the scripts so far:
(Many of these appear multiple times through the codes)

MEETING (many)
TARGET
GIANT (many)
WATER (many)
METAL (many)
MATTER
POWER
WINTER (is coming... o_O)
ENGINE (many)
TERROR (many)
EXTREME
TAKEN (many)
QUEEN (many)
WAITING (many)
ERROR
FAULT
DEMAND
ENEMY
READY
CENTER
STATE
MANKIND
WANTED
EMERGED
EMPTY
PRAYER
RANGE

These are all evident in one or more of the transcription lines (though some more than others).
I tried to pick out words of relevance to ED, etc.

As mentioned in the original 300+ page thread, without letter and word separators, the message cannot be Morse Code.

Specifically:
A dash is equal to three dots.
The space between parts of the same letter is equal to one dot.
The space between two letters is equal to three dots.
The space between two words is equal to seven dots.

I listened to the same clip.

It's nothing like what you posted.

Here's the notation:
-.-.--.-..-.---..--.-.--..--.-.--.-

Transcription is utter nonsense.

Could have been worse, the message could have spelled out:

'Drink more Ovaltine'....

You can never drink enough Ovaltine!

I could see ways to work in all of the terms that appeared "many" times. If so, it would appear to be a signal for help or aide, rather than a location or beacon.

A cold fusion powered engine is waiting to bring the terrifying queen to a planet with water and a station to demand an apology from the enemy, mankind, for their mistake. Once they are in range we should pray.

There is some interesting stuff in there. Tried searching for a web address (like others) by using www. which is .--/.--/.--/.-.-.- and it actually came up once. Another period (.-.-.-) came up a few lines down. Not been able to make any sense of the stuff in-between though. Wonder if we can space up stuff by searching for common English words, periods and commas.

Anyone tried running words like "the" and "and" (-/..../.) (.-/-./-.-.) to see how often they come up.
