would that not mean you wanted sand in the arctic and snow in the alpines? seems like a reasonable conclusion IMO. what I said is no different then cereal saying you wanted different backgrounds, beaches islands etc

I meant exactly what it says it means. There is only ONE starter map per climate. It would be nice to have more than one starting map. for each climate. Where do you get crossing climate textures out of that?

No... I meant exactly what I said. The video I watched had the exact same terrain (i.e. hills, valleys, waters in the exact same places). While textures COULD be included in that, I specifically said more maps PER CLIMATE. That generally implies that I did NOT intend to cross climates.

Ok.. I wasn't quite that specific. However, I never said anything about crossing terrains. The post in its entirety implies more starting terrains per climate. Why else would I start with that sentence?

You can't see how climate can be taken out of context when the maps are named after the climate (Deciduous, Alpine, Tropical, etc)? Since when does climate mean the terrain outside the map? The map itself is NAMED tropical; the MAP is named after a CLIMATE!!

I find it all very confusing myself. I wish it was all just set into drop down menus like in RCT3 with the ability to set how we want to play rather than the current setup

Yeah... my profile specifically says I am not allowed to edit posts. Don't know why... oh well. It doesn't matter. I am done with this game for now. I will buy it again if they finally implement some decent map features.
