This looks amazing Patau! Really nice work guys!

thanks was hoping to do a lot of work on it during the weekend and have it ready for you guys but I got distracted by the Epic Unknown Artefact hunt :D
It was a lot of fun, still haven't found any but I'm hopeful of at least seeing one as I put 1 Mil into the first finders prize
hope he still has it when I give it to him ;)

Do you see those 2 black dots close to the star? These are moons... :)

looks like the name of this star is wrong should be EPSILON INDI B I think, its planets are called EPSILON INDI B 1, EPSILON INDI B 2, ...etc

I'm happy to see the pictures being added to the book, but I would like to see some attribution on the pictures - either a mention of the CMDR name on the image, or a page listing all the page numbers of pictures and the appropriate CMDR name next to them please.
Back in February I asked that the images be attributed and I received a reply that hopefully it would be done that weekend...I see it's still not done.

Please attribute the images - it's the minimum of good manners.

I was afraid of it as it had relatively low mass - thank you for confirmation and congratulations for beating me ;)

found one :D

I've forgotten to mention that Jameson's Pride definitely deserves this record, at least for its name - I don't expect to beat it soon :)

Apologies pete, but the person that started that project hasn't been around for quite some time. I'm way to busy working on a site for the records so won't be able to do anything about it for some time.

I'm exploring various supergiants on a scientific journey, and found this odd little A-type on a sidetrip to scan a black hole. The silly thing pretends to be a supergiant at 0.22 solar radii. And seems to beat two records for A-types.

SMALLEST A-TYPE STAR
HIP 100391 A WITH A SOLAR RADIUS OF 0.222
CMDR LANCE 'SPACECAT' D.

HOTTEST A-TYPE STAR
HIP 100391 A WITH TEMPERATURE OF 26,047 K
CMDR LANCE 'SPACECAT' D.

Or am I misreading this silly thing?

Edit: HOLD THAT! I think we have a case of mistaken identity here. From the Galmap that star is said to be a BI type, and it's stats fit normal-ish B-class stars. Odd innit? A small B-star pretending to be an A supergiant, at a hilariously small size.

Let's try this again, with a system map that doesn't lie and a genuine hypergiant. I may not have discovered it, but it belongs in the records book!

LARGEST F-TYPE STAR
SADR A WITH 225.5548 SOLAR RADIUS
CMDR LANCE 'SPACECAT' D.

COLDEST F-TYPE STAR
SADR A WITH 5247 K
CMDR LANCE 'SPACECAT' D.
