No Category for entry but
Proto Star with Planetary Disk

Hutton Orbital - Alpha Centauri System - 0.22ly from jump star:)

Added to original post!
also found highest population systems
federation - G 203-47 with a population of 31.6 Billion
alliance - He Bo with a population of 24.4 Billion
independent - Aeternitas with a population of 18.6 Billion
empire - Ch'Eng with a population of 20.0 Billion

Lol, didn't notice Ly and not Ls, that's crazy!

I see that you don't have an entry for body with most moons, can I get the ball rolling by suggesting my find of Earth in the Sol system as it has one moon called Moon (if you don't believe me go outside on a clear night and look up :) ).

Added to op!
New smallest body... :)

Enceladus 252KM... Saturn's moon... in Sol. :)

Nice find Mokonzi, who would have guessed a galactic record in our very own solar system!:D

Yeah, a little surprised by that. I am surprised by how few moons there are in our Solar System, and especially some of the larger 'Minor Planets' like Ceres... I expected a little more.

Completed my exploration of Sol this morning.

Here's the system data of VY Canis Majoris (I visited it recently)... *spoiler alert*

Thanks Erimus, looks like you get the largest star record!
now to find out why I can't edit my original post, any mods reading that can help?

I think that will be the biggest star... As far as I'm aware there don't seem to be many bigger ones in the real galaxy... :D

I believe VY Canis Majoris is the largest star we currently know of in our galaxy, but we cant see most our galaxy so there's a possibility that there is a bigger one some where.
I think the parts we know of are in elite and the rest is procedurally generated, so there's a good chance that one of the 400 billion other systems has a bigger star

L 26-27 A 1 is the largest planet I've seen with Amonia based life.

I've still not seen a Class V Gas Giant yet... not a confirmed location. :(

L 26-27 A 6 is the most moons I've seen today (6 in total) but I know there are more with more... :D

I can edit my original post again so I've added recent records
I've got 9 moons at Mizar CD 1
I will be adding a few new catagories soon such as body Highest/lowest Surface temp, surface pressure and largest/smallest ring

Seen an interesting star system today in Cocijo where three or four planets have a Neon atmosphere... interesting concept... :D And the surface pressure is 0 atmospheres... :D

Cocijo 5 has a surface pressure of 1351.92 atmospheres.

Hmm, i'm on my way out to the end of what i believe is called the Orion Spur. I'd cross over to one of the major arms but not sure ill have the jump range to do that with my current path, so i'm just looking forward to trying to get to the end and have a patch of space with very few stars in it.

This thread made me realize, i'm not paying much attention to planetary/solar statistics, so will try and take note of any anomolies or potential records breakers.

Some new details:

Euryale is interesting... some mention of Drones in the system description though I can't yet find any of them... maybe a future update?

Euryale 9 has the highest surface pressure, 43,932.92 atmospheres!
Euryale 1 has a surface temperature of 1,564 K
Euryale 6 has the largest ring it being the B Ring at 368,237 km...

I'm assuming the largest rings are just the maximum radius/diameter and not the distance from it's inside edge to it's outer edge?
