Unlocking Hero Ferrari

Sorry to bump this thread but thought it better than start a new one. I’m just about to start surface conflict zones to unlock Hero Ferrari but do we know for certain what intensity conflict zones I should concentrate on or does it not matter?

I hope I’m well enough equipped, have a G3 dominator suit (no mods but planning to install night vision in case they’re in might time) before I start. Got a G4 Aphelion and G3 AR-50 (both un-modded ) ready to go. Might pop the stability mod on the AR-50. Should this be enough? I’m not a bad FPS player, was actually not a bad Counter-Strike player about 17-18 years ago

I think it's low CZs (or at least it used to be) and you should be fine with that gear. I am not a good FPS player and have been able to reliably win on-foot low CZs with some combination of G2/3 (can't remember specifically) AR-50, executioner, and tormentor.

Cheers. I’ll give them a go next week - don’t think I can play for the next 4-5 days. I have a G5 noise suppressed Tormentor that I’ve recently levelled up that I’ve used for a few assassinations, I feel the projectile speed would be too low for a target that would be expecting it - I assume NPCs in a conflict zone have enough programmed AI to step out of the way if they can? I have all the weapons so will give them all a bash.

It is low CZ's. I simply parked my SRV nearby, and hopped back in for a relog after every CZ. After 2 nights of 5 CZ's each, Hero sent me an invite.

The bug (if not fixed) may be related to using the taxi. I've had no issues with all 3 of my commanders, and I only use the taxi for unlocking Domino Green. After that, I do everything with my own ship.

There’s enough chaos in them that they don’t always dodge; the executioner (sniper rifle) and AR50 are my main weapons and I usually only whip out the tormentor if I need it for close combat. Your combo of apihion and AR50 is probably better :) have fun!!!

I think the mistake a lot of people make when going for this unlock is that they'll loop the same zone over and over and over and wonder why it's not triggering.

As far as I could tell when I did it, it wasn't when it hit 10 zones total, it was when I'd completed 10 different zones.

They can't dodge if they're not aware of you, generally they only dodge grenades. I find the number of times they'll just step out of the way because someone else is shooting, they decide to move, or someone lobbed a grenade at them to be hilariously high. To be sure you really want to ping them when they're likely to move in a line away or towards you.

As I stated earlier, I did the same zone 5 times per night over 2 nights. That worked for all three of my commanders.

There’s no way to actually see your progress is there?

Cheers for the replies everyone - might be a bit longer until I can play again, I have a horrible infected hangnail in my middle finger on my left hand that’s now really sore - ! I blame my gardening last Sunday!

Did a couple of Low intensity zones, found them pretty straightforward to be honest. Will just keep doing them and see what happens. Codex counting double certainly seems to still be an issue…

i found they leaned slightly to the left;)
if you tally as many as i did and hero is still locked then it's time for concern.............

As of dec 2024, here is how I did it.
1) Register for CZ on Frontline counter (looks like intensity doesn't matter - proof attached, 9xLow +1Med - Worked)
2) Get to CZ with dropship (dropship elevators are next to the Frontline counter).
3) Wait/fight until it resolves, watch battle stats and wait for dropship pickup.
4) Get back to station, pick another one (can be the same site, doesn't' have to be Low (but those are a bit quicker))
5) Repeat until 10 done in total (20 in Codex, as it still shows them as doubled)
6) Trigger server response to get the invitation message (go from on foot to your ship (worked for me) and/or relog)

Cannot confirm this works when going to CZ with a ship and landing manually, tried once at the last Med CZ, but NPC's were stuck doing nothing, so mission points where going down very slowly, didn't want to waste time and gave up.
