Many thanks for the RSS feed, whilst I have not played since March I still find it useful to keep up with the latest happenings.

Well, yeah, I'd want to know too, as there'd be little point in running two instances, with one increasingly out of date. I can easily set up an HTTP redirect to a new one once it's established, so that current users are transparently carried over.

Also, then they'd probably want to start their own forum thread for full control over it.

OK, so I'm paying just enough attention to have seen the new "The Great War" sub-forums have popped up, and have now ignored them in the scraper. That was a total coincidence of my paying attention to an IRC bot though, so do feel free to prod me if you see such in the feed in future.

And that's those new F1 2023 forums now ignored. I've also removed the posts that snuck through so they won't continue to be in the feeds.

Suddenly in the past hour or so:

Failed to retrieve profile page: 192704 (Steggs)404(Not Found)
Failed to retrieve profile page: 249391 (Bruce Garrido)404(Not Found)
Failed to retrieve profile page: 250838 (Tim Smith)404(Not Found)
And indeed at least Paige-Harvey's profile page now 404s. So, I assume these accounts have been purged (whether manually or some sort of lack of activity auto-delete). As such I've just stopped my scraper from polling for new activity on them. On a quick check, at least any posts they've made are probably intact, just showing as posted by a profile that is no longer clickable for a profile.

If anyone paying more attention knows that any of these are still active, say so!

Oh, look, they sneaked in a "Planet Coaster 2 News" sub-forum as well. Now ignored, posts scrubbed from the DB. They'll remain in the RSS feed until that's next (re-)generated.

Edit: Reminder, it's pure luck as to if I spot things like this, so do prod me in this forum thread if I've not spotted any such. I'm really not following anything ED-related any more.

You might add lmay to the tracked accounts, too — they were very active in an ED thread when the servers went down last Sunday.
