Ghost Interdiction with a difference that time. I submitted instantly, hoping for a fight, but the interdiction never finished. About a minute and a half later after trying to escape, trying to submit, even turning 108 to see the edges of the interdiction tube effect, I logged.
 
will we see more and better missions aimed at players that are further ahead in 1.1?

Right now every cargo mission I've ever seen can be done in a Cobra.
 
It was causing most of the mysterious deaths inside stations - the stations have doors that were causing collisions and they should always be locked open.

Are you referring the landing pads inside the station - those which are open-close, and lower your ship inside the hangar, or to the outer station entrance, which has that blue-fog glow, where you enter the space station's inside atmosphere?

I have once filled a bug report about my Type7 stuck inside the later somehow, but also have read many forum posts about sudden deaths right after ship launch without doing anything.

Michael... Any news on when the Launcher will get a fix.. I can still only see a black bar at the bottom with a red button saying login everything else is white.

It took me 10 minutes of gameplay to discover these....wonder what the patch testers are doing..

NEWS does not populate properly showing empty slots . requires to switch back and forth to a different station menu item to show up.

Frameshift STUTTERS as bad as ever near planets.

(Also newest nvidia driver installed release 22nd JAN 2015)

Aquire 2 Slave Missions still repeat themselves and can be solved on the same station as offered.
(i repeated this mission on Quator Station for 3 times in a row now making 150k credits...the re-appearance
of the mission is paralell with the miracolous auto restock of goods in the station (simulated real economy my ass...slaves are not produced like goods they are respawning just as rare commodities do on a fixed time cycle)
Also im getting rewarded with NEGATIVE influence for completing the mission and with positive stats on the other positions. Makes perfect sense......NOT.

Seems like a awful lot was fixed. HRMPF.

Ive seen 96 items missions ..of course they are hidden behind a Faction Trust Wall because Reasons (96 items of SCRAP transport ..yep u need to be trusted with such an mission of utter importance) ...any mission above 40 pieces are about as rare as a black hole in a bowl of soup...and since the regular explorer trader roams space he wont EVER pick em up anyway since the notoriety wall will prevent that. The devs do their best at sucking the fun out of the mission system.

Stuttering / pausing in combat still present after this patch.

To be specific, a one second pause every three seconds. Once it starts happening, the only way to stop it is to exit the client completely, and start again. Only happens at USS's & Nav Beacons, since the start of Beta 2. :rolleyes:

When the wait chain is analyzed with resource manager in windows, the error returned is:

That is, the entire Elite Dangerous client is pausing/halting/waiting for network sync updates. The frame rate indicator in game also shows a complete momentary freeze of rendering during this time. You need to make the network sync NON-blocking I/O, rather than blocking I/O. Especially given all of this happens in SOLO mode. :mad:
 
That's by design - if the party has no influence then it can't generate missions. We will look at maybe putting a floor in so there's a better chance of missions beinbg created for powerless factions.

Then it means that Eranin system is definitely bugged right now and needs to be fixed. Some people from our alliance even made it to allied status with Eranin Party, despite this problem, but the experience was very frustrating.

I suddenly have the Summerland and Facece permits, whist before I had only Achenar. Does that mean I was bugged? Am I likely to start seeing Naval Progression missions again?

It does look like a bug - make sure the ticket has this info and we'll take a look.

Yes, this happened to me as well on version 1.04. Left it for a few minutes after which I got a couple of "This can't be happening" NPC-death-type messages, then nothing. Still being interdicted, even when I turned right around and pointed backwards. I eventually logged off, logged back in again and continued from some random spot between the star and space port. Hasn't happened since, but I guess it's some sort of obscure instance-related bug...
 
Yep, that means no more exploiting those missions that require you to deliver goods already sold on that station...
 
I hope this solves the Issues I have, not sure though because I do have the permit, but the mission says unobtainable because I have the permit, so that mission needs removed to let the next through... will test tonight. If it fixes it I will be really pleased and FD will get a big smile from me.

things are looking up I have to say !

I've tested this - logged in after the update to see half a dozen new system permits (including Sol, which I've been dying for!).

I still get the Invitation mission (for Beta Hydri), which is the last one I completed. It says unobtainable because I have the permit (from accepting the Invitation when I earned it by ranking up).

However - that's not an issue for me - I've got my Permits now :) I believe that I still get Rank missions offered too - so other than the cosmetic issue of having a unobtainable Invitation mission for a Permit I already have, there's no issue remaining.

This line made my day :D Thank you very much, and furthermore I can now close my weeks old ticket to support :)

Furthermore I've read correctly a system allegiance will now swing/change to the party/allegiance with the highest percentage ?
