1.go to Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-odyssey-64\Movies
2 rename update_14_intro to UPDATE_14_INTRO.webm back and Press Enter
3 Play

it's still one click... pretty much like the one needed to play the version of game you chose to play, to cancel the movie or the one needed to start the game in the mode you want to play.

and if we talk about clicks - the new Galmap/Sysmap UI is really not your friend if the metric is info-per-click (compared to 3.8)

The video was ok. The explosions were... less than professional quality.

Can we appreciate that there are multiple ways to skin the cut scene view cat and not resort to backhanded complements toward each other?

Delete ALL the movies and the game loads even faster. At least that's what I did in 3.8 ages ago, and it worked like a charm.

folks will press the FSD button 200+ times to get across the galaxy but having to hit esc once on a boot is too much

In any case you can usually just delete everything in the movies folder for a faster boot up in general, including the old horizons splash screen.

Not for me. In days gone by this used to work to skip intro movies, but not for update 14.
Forced to sit through it every time I login. Only button that works during the intro movie is the VR re-center button.
