@sallymorganmoore in the grand scheme of bugs, this one is negligible, but the payout window from Vista Genomics does not match the actual payout. In this screenshot the window showed 12,073,500 credits with discovery bonus and the actual payout was 4,829,400.

Edit: sorry the pic is upside down! Posting from my phone.

Noted for sure. As I was reading I was hoping maybe it was the bonus not being applied but that’s a random total ☺️

HI, Sally! Will we be reimbursed the cost in tritium and hull maintenance?

I'm just finding out about this I am lucky that my carrier has jumped only once. However, for those whose carriers have gone rogue the bill's gonna be quite steep.
I can absolutely pass this on, Ace o7 Also if anyones carrier has pretty much jumped to the point of this being a major issue for them, please do let me know in a reply. Thank you!

I was landet in the Hyades Sector FB-N b7-6 system on the surface of the planet A1 or maybe A1A and logged out before the update.

When logging in after update everything was calm on the surface. So I go in to the Galaxy map to check were to go. Got put into a wizard-style tutorial. After reading a page or so I hear som low sound notifications possibly from the ship but it is hard to make out what is said. I try to read more but the ship talks more and I decide to just skip the last 3-4 pages to get out of the tutorial. Get hit by a shutdown pulse immediately and then get shot to pieces without the ship recovering from the shutdown (still landed) and get destroyed. Not a great gameplay experience. At least that notification volume should be higher so I can get understand I need to exit the tutorial. Would also be great if the tutorial starts out with mentioning that this tutorial can be reached again in the galaxy map so I can relax about deferring/skipping it for whatever happens outside the ship. Also, in space, interceptors apparently don't target ships with around 20% heat or less. Why do they target a "cold" ship on the ground?

My fleet carrier got moved around at least twice after release and that is fine. Some info from the team moving FCs around would be nice though. Was there also a "no go" zone or complete stop to jumping? Would also have been great to get actual information about this immediately, at least one sentence for each? Didn't see anything in this thread until the second jump which was maybe an hour. I do applaud your commitment to helping us @sallymorganmoore though!

I played with a friend after the update. We are not really updated with Guardian weapons and modules so not really in a position to take on multiple interceptors which seems to be happening often in the new gameplay area. We can get out of those though. But we want to get some new play out of the new content of course. So looking into the galmap it is confusing. There are Thargoid interdictions in all "War" systems, but the icons are not really reflecting the system danger or activity well. Red skull means there are humans to save/help, grey X means much nothing is happening except those interdictions from our perspective. Red scary skull seams inappropriately scary to what we can do/expect. Glad that you are going back to using different colors compared to the all orange galmap icons at least.

108gb of hard disk and 193gb on ssd. win 10 amd ryzen pilot there ..
Sounds sufficient. Unless the compression rate for the Live update is higher than it was for the Legacy update. (The final installation was about double the size of the download.)
That is the installation applications responsibility to validate before commencing installation.
I thought so, too, but my experience trying to install Horizons 4.0 (a few weeks ago) taught me otherwise. It had me sitting there wondering why there was no further progress, until I checked my storage space and saw that my drive was stuffed to the brim and still some Gb to install... After uninstalling another game, the installation commenced.🤷‍♀️

Things seem to be going better than expected, for me at least. FPS has increased a bit in all areas. When in flight, 60fps and in concourse low 40's. Ground CZ's say high 20's to mid 30's but there isn't that initial freeze (was that a loading thing?) anymore. I am used to lower FPS's, so somehow even ground CZ's, at low 30's, seem smooth to me.

Looking forward to whatever comes next!

You're not wrong. Wiggling through this thread and my eyeballs are falling out https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/holy-moly-at-the-exobio-pay-increase.611019/
Looking into it o7
Just to add to this - any buff to exo is obviously to be welcomed (though maybe not quite so generous). But it seems the rank requirements weren't changed - can you check this as well please? I'm hoping it's just a bug/oversight. At the moment you can find less than 20 specimens of Stratum Tectonicas (which is relatively common) and go from zero to Elite V in a day.

Edit: to clarify - any buff to payouts should see an equal increase in rank requirements. I don't think anyone complained about the effort required for Elite V

Update is very exciting: thanks FDev.

A couple of glitches (apologies if already reported above)

1) Carriers can only now be moved to the main star of a system, using the Galaxy map. System map claims every location is not a viable Carrier location.

2) Comms panel - multiple errors. Doesn’t show friends, or allow Direct Messages. Arrival of my Carrier in system produced a blank message.

Thanks for looking!

Well I'm quite disappointed, but not surprised, to say the Codex isn't working properly.

Very shortly after release last night I visited Maelstrom and scanned one of the

I got an on screen confirmation saying the new entry had been added to the Codex....

It's not in the Codex.

It's 2.3 all over again.

I saw people saying that a first find is now worth 77 times what it was yesterday! That has to be an error. And one that I hope is fixed very quickly
