Since my question to you in the launcher thread didn't get a reply, I'll try again. Can we please get the team so sort out why the text in the latest launcher is blurred?

Mine is sharp as a pin...

Is your monitor at native resolution?

ETA: Even setting my 4K monitor at 1080, I can't get it as fuzzy as your screenie... So maybe not resolution.

Both images taken on the same PC, same monitor, taken one after the other within minutes (different accounts) - so no it is b-all to do with my PC, monitor or settings. Interesting that you don't see it though.

I can confirm this - it's Windows' DPI scaling setting; when I set it to 125% (as I do on my 27" 2560x1440 screen) the Window is rendered at 100% and then scaled up to 125%, which just looks bad. Also, this doesn't have to happen, as the only thing that's missing is telling Windows that the launcher can scale itself perfectly fine:

Right clicking on EDLaunch.exe > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings > [X] Override high DPI scaling behavior > Application fixes it (and doesn't change anything for people that are using 100% scaling), but ideally you should ship a manifest file alongside EDLaunch that specifies this as default, or set the DPI awareness programmatically:

Windows DPI scaling is evil. It messes up a lot of applications.

Very interesting ... I checked and it is the new launcher that seems to have set that to have that box ticked - that is the blurry one. My other (the older) launchers did not have that box ticked (I made no changes so it must have come like that) - those were not blurred.

Unticking that box in the new launcher's properties, corrected the blurry text so @sallymorganmoore - that is the culprit.

Thanks @Leak for the prompt to check although the fix was the opposite (i.e. unticking the box fixed it).
 
It's been two days since the patch, and I found a carrier jump slot in 52 minutes on the third effort. Could the brilliant programming team stop messing with the game please?
 
Nope, it is not fixed for me.
I still see the glowing problem on Interceptor Cyclops.
The exerted heart is supposed to be more visible than that.
Agreed, it isn't fixed. There is also the bug where interceptors are rendered with all their hearts if you drop in after they have lost some, and their AI still has moments where it just stops doing anything.
 
Why is the set price range of the following commodities restricted in the Fleet Carrier market?
Alexandrite 5% only
Thargoid Probe 5-316%
Thargoid Sensor 5% only
Titian Deep Tissue Sample 5-1351%
Titian Maw Deep Tissue Sample 5-2933%
Titian Maw Partial Tissue Sample 5% only
Titian Maw Tissue Sample 5% only
Titian Tissue Sample 5% only
This list is not comprehensive(there's more like these)
At first, I thought that Frontier wanted to restrict economically dense items but there isn't a consistent price limit. Then I wondered why Meta-Alloys is unchanged at a max price over 19 million each. Including the change in the patch notes stating prices could be increased to 10,000 times the Galactic Average price and not include that some prices would be NERFED below pre-Update 16 price ranges. If this is not a bug, then your(Fdev) statements on the patch notes are deceptive. Thargoid Sensors and Thargoid Probes are really difficult to farm and are popular. I for one am getting sick of the artificial, inconsistent, irrational grind / restrictions to gameplay.

Why is F-dev doing this? Are you trying to drop the player numbers even lower?

I don't know what's worse: if it's on purpose or accidental.
 
Can't go through all 18 pages here, so sorry if this has been raised. AX restore missions (the low paying ones 300k ish) in liberated systems are still broken. I arrive to restore the power, generator in hand, to find the power on and the settlement fully occupied and running. Have to abandon and take another 100k fine. It's way past time this was fixed properly. Mission in question this time, was Naudiyal Engineering Forge in Chernobo.

That is hilarious - you would think it would have taken them extra effort to make it so random :)

Not quite. 10000%, which is only 100 times the galactic average. The old limit was 1000% which makes it so weird that some items can't even be sold for the same amount as they used to before the update.
Also why wasn't the total maximum buy/sell order amount raised to match the new limits? It's still restricted to 2 billion.
